My husband has end stage COPD and is in hospice. He said waiting to die is the hardest part, he is not afraid to die but afraid to linger. He has now written 6 books and about 200 poems. I hope one day someone can see them. COPD is a horrible disease and I hope he is resting in peace now.

I'm 63 in 2024, I grew up with the original Star Trek, and it's cast.............I really miss that series on T.V., it really was the best of times. It's been heartbreaking over the years to see the members of the Starship Enterprise pass on, I hope it was a far better life afterall.

This tribute made me cry. Thank you for so beautifully capturing who Leonard Nimoy was. The character of Spock helped me survive my very traumatic childhood, by making me feel okay about choosing to withdraw emotionally from the world in which my father emotionally and physically abused my mother, sister and I. I'm so lucky I got to meet Leonard Nimoy at a Star Trek convention in 2009 and then again at a book signing he did for his first book of photography. He was a very caring and thoughtful person at these events. Rest In Peace, Leonard Nimoy.

When i heard he passed, I cryed. He was an inspration for me. I took the Vulcan trait of not lying from an early age. And i dont and cant lie, I am 57 years old this year. And everyone who knows me knows I wont lie. When Spock appeared on NG and in the Kelvin time line i was happy to see him. He is missed by so many people. LIVE LONG AND PROSPER and PEACE AND LONG LIFE.

Yes, I also learned to revere logic, facts, cool dispassionate evaluation of facts....pretty much the complete opposite of so many people today. Spock influenced an entire generation of young people.

Leonard was also known for his cast role in the original Mission Impossible series as well as the In Search Of series. But Star Trek was his most famous role, for good reason as his talent and compassion in real life and on the screen is well known.

When asked about the pros and cons of the show he said he was type cast by ST. But he also said that after ST, he never had to look for work again. They called him.

I so adored Leonard Nimoy as Mr Spock. I remember watching Star Trek in the 1960's and fell for this character right there. I followed him on to the movies and any where he played Mr Spock. His Live Long and Prosper quote was what we all needed to hear and He truly brought this space alien to life in all that he did. I know he did not want to be type cast as the alien but in portraying Spock he made him more human than any of the other characters. I cried when I heard that he had passed. He was a legend as Spock and Star Trek lives on still. Thank you for this tribute to him..

Leonard Nimoy was a class act and so likeable. I looked up how he was so supportive to his Star Trek cast mates when they all received their star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Everyone seemed to attend these celebrations except William Shatner. I found this rather odd and found out Shatner did not have the same positive relationship with them as did Nimoy. Anyway, it was good to learn about Nimoy's kind and loving nature. I liked watching him as Spock and various other shows like Columbo. He will long be remembered and remembered fondly.

My prayer for Leonard is that before he died he read and understood chapter 53 in the book of Isaiah, and recognized the identity of the Jewish Messiah, and accepted his finished work that provides the only path for anyone….gentile, Jew, or anyone else….to enter the kingdom of heaven.
