If, as this game becomes worn, you replace components when they become unusable, one by one, until you've replaced each part at least once, is it still the same copy of the game?

So it's basically Mancala in space, and is just as bonkers as mancala might be if you played it with 3 or 4 players.

If abstract games are best with only two players, then they shouldn't be built to handle more.

gammaman322 notreal Disagree, if you prefer it with two play it with two. There is no harm in being able to play four, as you will see on BGG there are even people who prefer this game as a 3/4 player game, granted not the majority, but still. I prefer this game with two but still think its great with more players, it just changes a bit from Strategic to tactical but for me theres no problem with that. Would never buy this game if it was two player only.

It's not that all abstract games are best with two. Just this one

I agree and it's a shame that modern board game designers seem allergic to the idea of 2-player only games, despite the fact that 9 times out of 10 most people are only going to have one person on hand to play a game with, so this should honestly be the most common category

This game plays 2 or 4, but not 3. 4 player free for all is a mess. 4 player team can be a ton of fun. 2 player is great.
