Finally a paranormal investigation video that is done properly and respectfully. As a psychic medium myself I love these videos. It’s refreshing to see someone do it right instead of filming a bunch of girls talking about nothing/screaming every 5 seconds or upload a half hour of nothing.

As someone who does not believe in ghosts, this was probably the craziest ghost video you've ever filmed. HOW did the spirit box's words keep lining up so perfectly? That's actually insane.

I don’t believe in ghosts either. And I agree with you, technology is getting creepily better. I… don’t necessarily like it.
@temeraire8329

Well it depends on what this "Ghostbox" actually does. You can easily program it to wait for pauses as well as follow a rough story. If you want to make it really convincing, you can even implement an ai, which reacts to your answers. And then there's the effect that humans are really good in finding patterns (That's why we see pictures in clouds for example) and in fixating on them. In the video you can see that as well. In the first conversation, that the words don't match at all: "nervous", "yes I am nervous, would you like to make your presence known?" "in heaven", "So you're in heaven?...". Recognise how Peet makes an effort to interpret these words regarding the situation, which is the only reason, this conversation makes even the slightest sense. If he weren't nervous, he would've asked "Are you nervous?" (btw. same with the name "Peter" later). But this doesn't matter, since you can't expect ghosts to have complete conversations, right? Uhm, what? Why? Because all ghost conversations are incoherent? Well then, I know, that there is always a black car following you. Of course it sometimes is invisible, but that's just how cars work, you know? And with the way our brain works, this first interaction is completely irrelevant, once the second interaction fits so seemingly perfect. (Btw. a complete contradiction to the assumption that you can't expect a coherent conversation with a ghost) But these are 4 words/sentences in 5! hours. And there's two people doing their best to connect them. "Peter": Lucky guess, would've also worked if none of them were called Peter, they would've just assumed, it's the angels name. "I'm an angel": Answer to the question, but also to various others like "How did you die?", "Did you live here?", "what are you doing?" etc. "rose": Doesn't fit, so they go out of their way and google for a connection. Well the first 4 results for "fallen angel book" I get are "Fallen Angel by Lewis Kevin", "The Fallen Angel by Tracy Borman", "Fallen Angel by Chris Brookmyre", "The Fallen Angel by Daniel Silva" "I'm from the 1900s": Nonsense. They connect it to the vault, but if someone dies in 1901, they'd likely refer to themselves as from the 1800s, and wasn't it an angel two minutes ago, now it's a human? "I can talk through this" Not relevant at all as Peet himself points out
@Weep1ngWillow
8 ай бұрын
@temeraire8329 Lol, you make it sound like a conspiracy of some kind. Although it is quite possible that Peet could've faked it, a spirit box, can, in fact, just be coincidence. Here's the fun thing about Spirit Boxes. Most Spirit Boxes take random radio signals, which sometimes comes out to words, other times as sounds, depends on the equipment being used. And, yeah, of COURSE they were trying to piece it together. If you believe in ghosts, that's the first thing you're gonna do. For example, if random writing were to appear in your bedroom every couple minutes, and you strongly believe the one who was writing it was your little sister who is mute, you might want to try and figure out what she's trying to say. The first note says: worried The second says: beside the tree stump Then nothing for another hour. You're confused, but, it's not all that significant or anything. Then another note: (insert your name) And another: I like the playground Aaaaaand another: 2018 You already know your sister was born in 2018, so now you're more convinced it's her who's writing them. There is one final note, though: I can write. The last one is irrelevant, but the others seemingly match up. Your little sister hit her head the other day on a tree stump at the playground, and she must just be trying to tell you about it, but you already know because your friend told you it happened. It's logical for humans to try and look closer if they believe there is a hidden picture.
@temeraire8329

@@Weep1ngWillow That's exactly what I was trying to say xD Sorry, if that wasn't clear. I'm fairly convinced that Peet didn't fake it and (at least a little bit) believes in whatever happened. I just wanted to explain the psychological mechanisms behind it since you seemed puzzeled by how perfectly all lined up.
