Also, if you steal and get caught, the business owners can not only press charges on you for committing the crimes, but they can also charge you 3 times the amount of the original price, so 7 dollars for 3 hotdogs just turned to 21 for 3.

One of our hard working vendors had something similar happen to him but he never took any shite , after they threw food at him he quick as a flash pinned two of their hands to the bench with kebab skewers raced around and koed the 3rd one . We went to his court hearing and he said the hot food to the face caused him to blank out temporarily and it was out of character and as soon as he snapped out of it he called for the Ambulance and Police to render assistance . That night we celebrated with the Legend as the judge took his side and dismissed every charge as she deemed it not his fault .

To be honest, I'm not suprised at all by behaviour like this. Once me and my friends went to a local pub/restaurant , just after the lockdown ended in the UK, to support the Eat Out To Help Out scheme (which was set up to get people to go to local restaurants and pubs by paying for half of your meal) and after we had our meal, the waitress told us that they lost some money since people refused to pay for food that they ate, and they weren't drunk university students but adults with children. I find it ridiculous that people are this self entitled and have no regard for their surroundings.

The girl who recorded definitely deserves some good karma as well! I was about to say that if I were there, I would intervene quickly. But you made me realize, what she did was better than what I would have done. I'm definitely learning from that to try and become a better person to others. What at the very least I promised myself not to be, is a bystander who does nothing. How thankful people become is honestly surprising and heartwarming. Some people even actually cry out of the sheer gratitude of someone really caring to have their back. I will never forget those people. It's deeply touched me and motivated me to never stop. It's mostly in the hospitals here in Sweden where patients are being mistreated, and me butting in has helped the others endure the staff, because they weren't alone against them anymore whenever I was there. There are many instances before that where I wish I had the courage, that I still remember and regret. But I've promised myself to help others now whenever I might be needed as support. Because I wish someone would always do that for me.

There was a video a few years back here in Los Angeles where these two dudes robbed an elotera, then bragged about the money they stole from her and how he bought his girlfriend stuff with it on social media. Next thing you know, these people are fleeing for their lives. One of their homes was shot up, a mob surrounded the house, and even the police looked the other way to join in. It was some serious vigilante justice thing. I'm pretty sure none of the thieves survived.
