The first look at a country is not always the definitive one.
The change of attitude can generate from one moment to another a fruitful sympathy.
We came to Poland without much expectation, because we already know, because it is close and because the summer is ending. But Poland gave us an opportunity to enjoy its streets among the crowd.
Given the exponential growth of migratory flows, it seems increasingly difficult to detect particularities. Despite the difficulty, we will continue trying to do it.
"Poles never smile" is one of the many futilities assigned to this people.
In general, the smile has reserved a logical place for the Poles, they are not inclined to walk smiling through life, why yes.
It is easy to fall into justifying your past pains, your hard history. But most of the people we cross in our path have not lived through those times.
Instead of such justification, then, we prefer to look for other hypotheses.
The weather is a possibility, here most of the year it is cloudy or cold. If it doesn't rain, something that is happening right now and you can see in some images.
We have already verified in other geographies how the climate influences, for better or for worse, the mood of people. The further north we have gone, the more we have perceived it.
Another hypothesis is cultural in nature. Education has made these towns respect and location a good to sustain. Simply for them it is not necessary to attract attention.
Instead keeping your composure, not interfering in each other's microcosm, is a good deed for Poles.
In any case, feeling ourselves in the midst of all these people and being able to capture their passing is a feast for the eyes.
Party understood in the local sense, measured party, a party does not have to be synonymous with excesses or accelerations.
There is something we must not forget. The rhythm of your walk should be that of your feet. There's a reason nature didn't put wheels on us.
With this phrase I used to justify my choice of traveling at a slow pace, walking, hitchhiking, sleeping where night fell, which brought me to these latitudes a few years ago.
This is where I wanted to stay because, precisely, everything seems to be slowing down.
We will continue to walk this side of the map of the map to share it with you.
