I started working full-time 5 weeks ago to cover a co-worker’s maternity leave. I have found that just picking out my outfit and putting meat in refrigerator the night before helps me not feel stressed. So you are so right little things really do matter. Thanks

I am easily overwhelmed when I am tired. Obviously we can’t just go take a nap whenever we feel like it but on those days- I just realize that if it’s not going to shatter- like you said- like if I don’t unload dishwasher or wipe down counters immensely- we will still live to see another day. I also overthink basically everything and recently I’ve adopted the attitude of - it will be what it will be. For example I was stressed about what to wear to a work dinner. I obsessed about it and decided on the go to black pants and sweater. No one seemed to even notice what I wore and there I was - worrying away for nothing. Just be kind to yourself!!!!! Love your content Lydia!!

I have felt overwhelmed since the beginning of the year. We’ve been hit with illness after illness. Still trying to get back in the groove felt really good till this morning when I couldn’t find the eggs I bought yesterday only to remember they were still in the car 🤦🏼♀️ I cannot wait till my moms chickens start laying more and I get farm fresh free eggs.

Yes..grace. I'm at a different season in life right now, but when I was working on my master's, homeschooling one, and had another in high school, it was rough. I had to do food prep, scheduled cleaning, and everything else. I gave myself reading and nap breaks (10 minutes of just sitting or closing my eyes) when I could swing it. Reading breaks were sometimes 5 or 10 minutes, but it kept me more relaxed. (I also made sure to get with God early in the morning because He kept me centered all day)

I think that is huge. I have been trying to remind myself of the same. That you don't get to see or feel someone else's perspective. So grace and reminding yourself that you want you perspective to be respected too, will get you so far.

Feeling very chaotic and overwhelmed lately so very grateful for this video! I live by lists so first of all i do a massive braindump of whatever is rattling around my head then i prioritize only the stuff thats essential/important/urgent - everything else stays on the list for later but i dont need to worry about it now. I love your meal prep plans. I find baking quite comforting when im stressed so i tend to batchcook tea bread or muffins or something so im set for breakfasts/snacks for a while and then maybe something like a soup or a casserole i can eat/freeze for easy meals too. Hope you meet your deadline and the kiddos are all back to full health soon xx

Thank you, I/we need this. We are in the process of emptying my father-in-law's home. He is on Hospice and we want to move him to our home. Overwhelming is an understatement! IT makes me want to declutter our home ASAP! We will be needing a bigger home, too. Fun. However, we know what we are doing is the right thing. Your tips n tricks are great. I'm going to use these tips. We are in 2 different states on top of all this.

So sorry everyone was sick. I hope you all are better now. I do the same things with overwhelm. I totally slow down , make a list and triage the day. That oat recipe, is there a sub for peanut butter ? Big time nut allergies in my household but that looks soo good. You are slowly converting me to a meal planner lol. I still struggle with it because it feels so time consuming but you also make it look easy.

I have had Mint mobile for over a year. Every once in awhile I have to call in Bc my service/ internet connection not working while I’m away from home. Called Mint had to take out my card reset me to a different network/ tower. No buggy worked happened a couple times. This last 2 weeks…well I have had nothing but issues. I Doirdash/ instacart on the nights & weekends for extra $. Well when you can’t open your mint app and you have customers icecream in your car and do not know where your customer lives….it is a problem. I had to call Mint 4 times last Saturday alone and my calls keep dropping. They told me I can leave them and keep my $ that I brought to them. But I will not get my $ back!! I am paid until August. So right now I am less than satisfied with Mint mobile
