Ok that Marie needs to CHILL OUT lmao. Ok but if someone tells they're transgender how we should react? I understand that if Im getting to know person and we want to go on a date or something gives me this information about them, but if not, I dont really see a point knowing this about someone unless they're my bff. People dont come up to you and dont say Hi im Tom and Im gay, so I dont understand why transgender people should always tell people. I dont really care about those things, we're all different

One of the things to consider is that transgender people make up less than 1% of the population. For this reason I would expect people to have many questions. While it may be a huge part of your life, it may have never come across the mind of the average person. By bringing in the fact that you're transgender invites people to question your life. I myself would never mention it. If you identify as a female and appear as a female it should be easy. Also, realize there are people who want to hurt you and may appear as your friends. Bullies exist in every gender and group and due to things such as religion and political beliefs may belittle your life choices.

Matilda I wish you every good grace in your life. You are a beautiful woman. I have one question. Maybe it's not good to announcer transgender until you really know someone well. Maybe letting them know who you are too early could create problems. I wish you love and happiness. I think I may be transgender but I am not sure. My mother wanted me to be a girl and said that was what I was supposed to be. So I have always had a desire to be female and yet I am not attracted to men in any way. I am attracted to women and my desire to make love to women would not change if I had surgery. I would love to hear your thoughts as a transgender woman on this issue if you can. I thank you for reading this post and I thank you for your time. With respect always, Brant

@Mathilda Hogberg Hi Mathilda! I'm here to learn, could you explain your view on the following please? (It is off topic) I always understood the following like this: When medical professionals classify birth sex, they do so based on the presentation of surface genitalia at birth. Since humans can present with specific genitalia, e.g. penis, and have chromosome combinations that are not the standard classification in relation to that genitalia. Present with multiple or patrial genitalia, fully/partially/non functional, etc. So when patients present with gender dysphoria, are these patients feeling a mismatch with their genitalia? e.g. example patient feeling like the genitalia that presents there is incorrect. Are they feeling a mismatch with their physical attributes? e.g. example patient feeling like they should have larger breast mounds(that can develop milk ducts) instead of a flat chest. (And function in the intended way, rather than just appear so) Are they feeling a mismatch with societal boundaries regarding feminine and masculine boundaries? e.g. example patient feeling like they should present themselves as more feminine in societal standards of behaviour and easily changeable appearance features(clothing, hair etc) than they are currently allowed to because the public views them(the example patient) as a man by societal standards? ( When differentiating birth sex (m/f) based on presenting genitalia and gender, how do you define gender? As man/woman? As a spectrum of feminine and masculine attributes? Are the attributes that define gender on a surface level? Or a biological level?) Thank you!

I'm wondering how easily you may be able to get HR involved if it happens in the workplace. My workplace has A LOT of fundamentalists, and when we had a semi-high profile patient on a unit, there was a recurring issue of nurses and CNA's mocking, misgendering, refusing to have the patient, and just completely disrespecting the patient. The hospital's nursing manager (a cisgender gay man) had to stop step up and say "I know what you say behind my back. Respect this patient as a woman.". I'm really not sure why the manager has never taken this up with HR, because if you don't stop an issue and the perpetrators keep encouraging like-minded individuals to get hired (and promoted) at that facility, how do you ever SOLVE the problem?
@kencoleman5007
3 жыл бұрын
I even caught the charge nurse and another nurse quickly snickering as a CNA who pinged on their gaydar got introduced to the unit, walked into the next room on the tour. And I'm telling you, this charge is all about talking out of both sides of her mouth. Talking negatively about a person BEHIND people's backs, while adapting her displayed personality based on whoever she's talking to in order to gain supportive loyalty from ss many people as she can find. Like a 30-something Nigerian Regina George.

I also wanna point out what I feel is a lot of the issues with the transgender community and wanting to where the transgender label as if that’s everyone’s business when it’s not right. Here it is my gender identity is my business if I’m a woman and I identify as a woman and that is how the world sees me and I’m not having any issues or getting the standard then that’s great that’s the whole point of transitioning for you to be able to pass and to live your life. But if you’re going to go around telling everyone the kind of woman that you are just because then yes you are going to find yourself in situations where people are going to have 1 million questions. It’s just natural people are nosy. There’s no reason for me to get on video chat Knowing that I’m a woman of four woman and go around telling people oh yeah I’m a woman I’m a woman when they’re clearly going to see that and they’re clearly going to know that when I talk like it’s just completely pointless to wear labels on our heads and honor sleeves that are just going to make things were confusing and harder for us there’s no reason whatsoever. Unless were in a situation where we can educate someone and help them understand something better that would be the only reason I will see purpose to be wearing labels on our sleeves.

Even when a woman's body is done with the process of prepping her body To carry a child inside her body She is still a woman because her body is made for that task from her To be involved with the situation But can you tell me can you do the same with your own body if you had a choice In the situation, if you can't then you're not a woman Because you do not have the physical capability or the makeup of your body that will allow you to make that choice
@cortezrange5950
3 жыл бұрын
I know sometimes females medically Can't have a child by giving birth to them But it still doesn't change the fact that their body is more set up for that task With their bones muscles chemicals And the organs that they have in their body Either of these aspects can have a defect But is still is a fact that a man can't carry a baby inside of his body to complete that task only a woman can do that So that's why we call females a woman
@cortezrange5950

I hope that you're having a lovely holiday you are just mad with me because I'm telling the truth About your identity or people that can self-describe them self as a gender When they don't have the evidence to back up the claims that they can be talking about with their own bodies It is only two Sexes that is biologically proven to relate to our functional bodies females and males that's it For the rest of the time is people that's trying to play Scramble with adjectives that they can explain to they self So they can capitulate to other people
@cortezrange5950
3 жыл бұрын

3 жыл бұрын
And the other thing that makes you not able to be a biological female it's because you weren't born to that body type And if you were you wouldn't have to go through the surgery to get the figure or appearance that you do have now So you do have the right to live free and happy with any partner that you choose To not have harm against you or the other person that can be in the situation with you but you do not have the right to call yourself as a physical function to a human body to be a female because you're not a female
