No one I know talks about these situations and I'm so glad you did. I get a lot of my non-experience tips from you! I had close neighbor of mine give birth to a baby girl 3 months ago and want my help with child care. We were close way before she was pregnant so the relationship for childcare was a little off since we didn't communicate it. Once the baby was 2 months, and i've been helping with since birth, I learned the two types of relationships and how they shouldn't cross. Wish I got these tips before but we live and we learn! 😂 In a previous video I saw you lived in Florida ( I do too ). Not sure where you are now, but stay safe during this hurricane!

Relationships of all kinds can be tricky. Now that you are aware of it, it should be easier. Yes, I am in Florida and Ian is coming straight at us in St. Petersburg. My house will definitely flood. For Eta we were 1 inch from having water in the house. I don't think we will be so lucky this time. ☹ Hope you are in an area that won't be hit so hard. Stay safe. .

Can I just say I have never felt more relieved when you talked about how at every event you feel like it's assumed that you are there to watch other peoples kids. I have so much experience with this and I always felt to shy to talk about it. I am so glad to finally know that other babysitters have gone through the same thing. Also I just moved to a new house in a new community and I want to start a babysitting again but don't know anyone in the neighbourhood and don't know where to start. Do you have any tips?

Oh I am so glad to hear this! That is why I try to share a lot of my experiences because I want others to know they are not alone! Yes, it can be hard to have this conversation but sounds like its a must. As far as starting new in the neighborhood, become involved with community events going on and introduce yourself to as many people as you can!
