Except for the way he was dressed. I have never heard a Bama fan act like any team, outside of the conference needed to be dissolved for them to have a chance, especially the last 15 years. Heard many that wanted Notre Dame dissolved but not because of fear of competition. We respect the hell out of Ohio State but thinking their sudden non-existence is the only way our team wins a title, the most unbelievable thing in this video. I am fully aware of how arrogant that sounds but I have been around too many fellow Bama fans to pretend it is any different.

Adam is wearing the wrong gear to have made a statement like "if a certain team didn't exist", then we might have a shot at a title. The rest of the spiel was on point, about needing team A to beat team B and team C to beat team D, just because of a untimely loss during the regular season a la Iowa State beating Oklahoma State in 2011, Iowa beating the aforementioned OSU in 2017 or the near miracle plays in the Arkansas-Ole Miss game in 2015. Bama fans are not afraid of any other team, to the point of arrogance, especially in the last 15 years. I do hear mild concern about certain matchups but never "no way we could beat team E". That is no disrespect to the example he used, Ohio State gets a lot of respect by the fanbase but thinking, "no chance", not going to happen. Hell, going into the SECCG last year, there were grumbles of concern, especially about the Bama OL but never did I hear "we can't win>" I know, it is a comedy sketch but the best comedy(like the rest of that particular spiel) has a ring of truth.

I have fond memories from being in the Arizona State University Sun Devil Marching Band in the early 90's, and some of them were fellow band members doing that exact same thing. It's not a Southern thing. It's a football fanatics thing.
