Lake Titicaca is the highest navigable lake in the world. And if you love amazing places, this is one for your bucket list.
Not only does this lake, which sits at 12,507 feet above sea level, connect remote cities in both Peru and Bolivia, but it's home to some of the world's most amazing cultures.
We had the chance to experience two very unique cultures in one incredibly special place. We visit the Uru people, who have been living on floating reed islands in Lake Titicaca for over 1,000 years, and the Taquileano people on Isla Taquile who have adapted to modern times on their own terms.
