We did a few episodes on a SunRace groupset a couple of years ago. We didn't know that they existed either until we got it sent to us. Loved the whiteboard breakdown on the cassettes.👍

I think you did a different one, I think it was a 10-speed? I don't know if they're really any different but they definitely have a different part number. I don't think it went too well for you either though!

I love the Altus line of derailleurs. So smooth! You should check out the LTWOO derailleurs. They work well, and are very budget. Great comparison video!

I agree, the Altus is a pretty decent derailleur, I was just using it out of its range. Never tried an ltwoo, guess I'll have to consider trying one!

I loved that intro HAHAHAHA Fun fact - I've never had a 9 speed that I can recall 😅😅😅

Thanks, im actually trying to be influenced by your enthusiasm when you make videos! 9 speeds not real popular, so its not surprising you never had one!

That's a sram style deraileur cable inlet. Can be a pita but i like it better than shimamo, seems to be smoother.

The best part about 9 speed (and less) Shimano is everything is cross compatible.

One time I did put an 9 speed Altus derailleur on a bike that had a shmano 7 speed shifter and freewheel and everything worked fine!
