Thanks for doing the back-to-back love/hate videos. Everything is always a compromise, and seeing both sides of the coin makes it a lot easier to pick the best compromise for the job.

I just bought the exact same machine for our family. I purchased for the same reasons you listed... 4 seat capability with a compact chassis. I also picked up the factory full poly windshield and full hard top that covers both front and rear seats. Honda durability and longevity are also a plus. Some of the shortcomings are probably tradeoffs that the engineers made to keep the costs down. All in all, I would definitely recommend. Thanks for the videos!

Great review sir! Very informative. I think I found my target machine. The 4 sear capacity in the shorter wheel base for my trailer was key. :)

@@ChoresOnTheFarmChannel that was literally the selling point for buying Honda. The transmission. Second was reliability. Then they snuck me over to the 1000-6 after I got out of the 700 and that was that.

Honda is just GOOD. Just got a 2025 like this in green. I love it already. I'm happy I went with the usability rather than the" my side by side is the biggest and fastes" factor I saw alot in shopping around. Not sure what that is good for other than cost and continued cost. Yeah, you can go real fast sometimes. I guess that's good.

When you have this in manual mode does it have any hold back on a hill my dad has a 2014 2 seat pioneer it doesnt have any hold back on a hill, but other than that he has had zero issues with it right now its going on 23000 miles still honda strong
@ChoresOnTheFarmChannel
Жыл бұрын
To be honest I rarely use manual mode. 75% of the time I am riding, at least one of my kids is sitting on my lap. Shifting is just one more thing to think about. I think the main benefit of manual mode is going to be hauling/towing or real dicey terrain where you want to keep it in first. Maybe drag racing too… but unless I am going against a golf cart, I’d probably just take the L. I will try it out next time I am hilly and alone. But even if that issue is there… wouldn’t change my decision.

@ChoresOnTheFarmChannel

You should be paying around 17k out the door NOT including sales tax for a Deluxe trim. That gets you EPS, paddle shifters, and better looking wheels. The base model should be about $1,500 cheaper. Planning on doing a "trim level" comparison including pricing and features soon!

Check back when I am freezing my butt off around November. I don't love the cab kits I have seen for it, so I haven't looked too hard at a heater (yet). I have a rusty chevy pick-up for brutal days, and lots of sweatshirts for bearable days. That may change!

@ChoresOnTheFarmChannel

Awesome Question! I might do a comparison video on the different trims. There are minor differences, but a lot of them are cosmetic (Bigger front bumper, different wheels, camo pattern). The biggest difference is the factory winch. 95%+ of my riding is on the farm where a tractor and tow strap are one phone call and less than a mile away. Couldn't justify spending two grand on a winch that I would likely never use.

I've been in louder. You can carry on a conversation cruising. If you get into the throttle it can be a little much. It isn't an electric EZ-GO - but it could be worse!
