1. I wonder if this adapter will work in an HP EliteBook or Dell Latitude. 2. I really wish the Express Card slot standard had a locking mechanism since it would be possible for this adapter to slide out unexpectedly. 3. You should do a second video on whether it can boot a Windows installation.

On the second point, most devices implement a locking mechanism. It isn't a full lock, but it should serve pretty well in keeping the drive in place. If you're very concerned about it, I'd say taping over the slot with a piece of gaffer tape would do well.

As always, the video was excellent and informative at the same time, everything was completely clear and without doubt. PS: I don't know if this is the right place but I'm having a little problem with my ThinkPad; when I had my ThinkPad T430 in my hands and I made the improvements, everything was going well until it was time to put an SSD on it, when I installed it on the laptop with Windows 10 PRO, I noticed that when it started it was just as slow as an HDD and when I do the test, I notice that it exceeds 400mb/s, so I don't know what may be causing this. I already tried everything and I'm still in the same situation, the SSD is in AHCI, all the drivers I installed were from the official page (the BIOS is unlocked) but even so I don't see the speed change that I would have to have. The only thing that I could notice different was that in the device manager, ATA/ATAPI IDE controllers, the one that manages it is an Intel driver and in services it marks that I have it in iastora.

Minor corrections to compatibility: afaik T43 & T60 didn't have expresscard - they had PCMCIA which is incompatible with expresscard an interesting experiment in diminishing returns... for the cost of this adapter + the extra cost per GB of the 2242 NVMe drive + headache and extra cost of daily driving very old hardware (not to mention security concerns)... you could probably buy a more recent ThinkPad with better performance and user experience I love my classic ThinkPads, but they are like classic cars: to be admired from afar and seldom driven

T43 has a really weird combo CardBus + ExpressCard slot, and it's a bit of a headache, but is a thing. T60 has the same configuration.
