Jeff the Canadian Comedian! Your videos always seem to make me smile. And yes our boat could benefit from something like that. Thank you.

Good job Jeff. I think why I do all my boat, car, home repairs is because as you said, you paid someone to fix it and here you are fixing their mess. If I do it right the first time it is bound to be cheaper than dealing with a mess down the road AND a problem.

Those bilge switches are great because every time the pump comes on the red light comes to let you know.

You need to come back to Thailand to top up your electrolytes. Safety is a lifestyle, is not first here. We call it safety5th. Jeff has become the Jack of all trades. You 2 rock. Go Joco.

Great suggestions regarding the ON-OFF-ON switch. I just added that to my list to change out. I also have an LED showing when the pump is running.... It's good to add an LED to visually see that the pumps are running often or not..... I can catch problems before it ever fails and reaches the high water switch triggering an audible alarm.

Yup that’s exactly what we have ! The switch has it built in to light up when the pump is running . Thanks for watching , glad you got some tips from us thru it !

The momentary position for the switch should be on the manual side off then on for auto

This upgrade allows us to put it in ‘manual mode’ and it will just stay ON without one person standing there holding the toggle over to keep it on 👌

Nice video! My HR312 has the same switch and I didn't think about the momentary switch being a problem in an emergency. I have found the switch accidentally in off, so a guard is a good idea too.

Glad our vid has given you some food for thought! We once found our switch in the off position for no apparent reason too , which was why Jeff decided ‘never again!’ and upgraded it :)
