A thoroughly entertaining and detailed review. It should come as no surprise that this Himalayan, or indeed any Enfield, handles well as RE acquired Harris Performance over 10 years ago. Harris is a well-respected and hugely experienced chassis design and engineering company that has competed at the highest level, and it's clear that RE is putting their expertise in frame and suspension design to good use. Looking forward to your full review of the Guerilla!

It's such a gorgeous bike. I've always liked the idea of getting an adv bike but I've never liked that they tend to look sport-bike like with all the crazy sharp angles and flat planes. The Himalayan 450 looks like a classic motorcycle. It's so damn good looking.

I am a new rider and want and adv, but have been debating between this as a more budget friendly option or sprining for a transalp, and haven't made up my mind. Buuut, as a big buy myself, this was so nice to see someone closer to my specs riding it and have giving me a bit more to chew on. Great work mate!

I liked your video. I think I am going to look at this model along with the new CF Moto 450. I want a less expensive model to ride mostly gravel roads and some single track. I have a 1200 Tiger to do my ADV and road riding but is a little heavy for dirt in my opinion. You and Dork in the Road had pretty similar comments on the Himalayan.
@rohanroxy4813
9 күн бұрын
@@dad2468 you can even consider scrambler 400X also made for both road and offroad also , yeah tiger indeed is heavy for offroading , Himalayan 450 would be a decent choice too. Reason why cf moto didn't launch much in India is their spares availablity and poor service network which didn't go well so people didn't consider it in options also either.

I had the chance to test this RE Himalayan and the CFMoto 450MT/IBEX450... difficult choice. I went for the IBEX for the two cilinder,, weight, less vibration and much better suspension, but it was not an easy choice. In my country RE has a much better service, but the suspension and the weight are very relevant to me. I hope I made the right choice, but the Himalayan is a solid alternative. I can always sale the IBEX if it doesn't perform as expected :) Great video!
