Hi Gracy, this was recorded during a Chrismas concert, broadcasted by broadcaster MAX. So that is what the title is in Dutch: MAX Kerst Concert😊. You are a bit behind on Emma now, and that's a shame😮. One year after her Voila performance and touring around the world with Andre Rieu's Orchestra, she returned with a new song! Check out "Dancing on the stars". It is so beautiful and don't skip the intro❤. This performance will also make you cry, but from happyness I think.

I was already starting to wonder where you were 😂. When I was filming on Saturday, I asked about you in one of the videos, (I’m still editing them, I don’t know which one in particular). I don’t upload as much reactions because my camera pisses me off, but I’m trying to ignore it (it stars to overheat every few minutes, which is not normal) until I can get a better one. And ofcourse “life” is another reason 😂. The views can be very discouraging but I love music and not all reactions go viral, you know. Raye opened for Taylor 😱, that is so coollll I live under a rock 😂, I’m so not current in anything and not knowing things like this is one of the downsides. Glad to see you are back 😁.

@@GracieReacts I haven't moved a mm, always been here, always will be, I'm like a rock! But you: a tumbelin' tumbleweed... Don't you think impossible love affairs, like that between a rock and a tumbelin' tumbleweed are the most beautiful ones? I do, for the sake of art, no one wants to hear a song about plain reproduction, we want drama, we want high speed risk, we want a story that's beyond the usual... And I even suppose life is the reason for everything... more or less... - So the are more videos to come and even one where you asked about me (I wonder how that goes: "Has anyone seen Hundhammer lately, aka Dominik the BavaRAYEan Halien Angel? What the hell is he doing?..." lol...) ... Can't wait, you better edit them yesterday! Peace and love, today more than ever!

Hi gracie, nice reaction. She made a well know song totalley het own, but even if she sings a known song the "normal, unchanged" way she can make you emotional. It's her unique voice, tone and performance. Please check her version of "You raise me up" kzitem.info/news/bejne/r3-OqGuKm5d-qaw Greetz Jacques

Where to start? You're relatively new to Emma, and she clearly has massively impressed you, this song was not her first major performance, that was her first appearance with Andre Rieu, on his stage in Maastricht, in July 2023, singing Voila, and at the time, it was deemed by many, including me, as perfection but she's well and truly changed that with her most recent song with Andre, released a month ago, it has effectively redefined perfection, the song is not new, it was penned 20 years ago, before Emma was born, but it's never been performed until now, that said, the writer has written two other songs in recent years for Emma, LAAT MIJ EEN VLINDER ZIJN , let me be a butterfly kzitem.info/news/bejne/y3ep0KSkqXmKZYI Strijder kzitem.info/news/bejne/04JmrYCap4l2fqA this new song, 'Dancing on the stars' was released only 4 weeks ago, and the video has already over 5.5 Million views on just the KZitem channel. kzitem.info/news/bejne/raJn24aVgYeAg20 Voila was Emma's first ever appearance with Andre, the stage is set up on the main town square in Andre's home town of Maastricht each summer, there are a number of performances during the month of July, both 2023 and 2024 have seen 12 concerts, each to capacity audiences of 12,500 people, 4 concerts each weekend through the month, Thursday through Sunday. kzitem.info/news/bejne/rJp_zqVnrZRpdqQ 12 months on, Andre presented her a Diamond disc that confirms 50 Million streams since the original release, it's actually massively more than that when other social media sites are added, and the KZitem figure is now in excess of 63 Million views, with all other social media sites, it's closer to 150 Million. Emma was born with Gastroparesis, to keep her alive, she was put on tube feeding at 9 MONTHS, for 22 hours a day, so she's never had the experience of eating normally, she can only eat very small pieces of rice cracker, with slivers of other foods on them to let her experience the flavours, so effectively, she cannot share in any of the normal experience of meals shared with other family members, and she also has problems with some drinks, milk doesn't agree with her, and to make it worse, as the medical profession struggled to diagnose her, they didn't fully diagnose her till she was 10, during those intervening years, things like her gag reflex was damaged, so she can't vomit, which is a serious issue for her condition, as her stomach doesn't properly process and pass food through, and vomiting would be a regular issue for most sufferers of this disease. In addition, her growth was significantly delayed, even now, at 16, she's still only 1 Mtr 50, and weighs around 50 Kg, so still tiny, and as a result, her stamina is significantly reduced compared to most, she struggles to climb more than 2 flights of stairs, even longer walking such as through a large airport is a challenge, made worse by carrying 2 feeding pumps in a shoulder bag or similar for 22 hours a day, the equivalent of a boat anchor, but she absolutely refuses to allow her disease to define her, and is determined to live as normal a life as possible, but on a bad day, she does sometimes resort to using a wheelchair. Her first ever appearance in a show, during Covid, so there was no audience, was in 2020, she was 12 at the time, the concert was arranged by her brother, Enzo, and among other things, she sang a powerful version of 'Opportunity', kzitem.info/news/bejne/0IOv13epb6yLg2k I love the way she ends it with a spoken, 'I guarantee', and that beautiful smile that says she absolutely meant it, and at the same time knew she'd just nailed that performance, it happens a lot, that cute smile at the end of a significant performance, it was the same with Voila, she turned to Andre, arms wide, with a smile, no words, but it was clear what she meant, 'How was that?', and Andre's response said it all, one word, 'Fantastic', the embrace and bringing her back for more of the standing ovation, a wonderful moment. Her next major appearance was the Voice Kids contest in 2021, which she won, and the video of that progression shows so clearly that even then, she had incredible presence on a stage, and was very much able to shine as a performer, kzitem.info/news/bejne/k2advp2hh4SblaQ A very different event, not a professional recording, she performed with the Maastricht Star Male Voice choir, singing 'Hallelujah', kzitem.info/news/bejne/0Gmr2Z-hbKGTnYo She's also sung this last Christmas, the song you've reacted to here. Part of a Christmas concert on Dutch TV, with a full orchestra, and it's another indication of how she's developed as a performer, kzitem.info/news/bejne/mqeMroWriYOml2U , Earlier this year, in May, Emma was honoured to be asked to perform as part of the annual commemoration events in May of this year to remember the huge number of lives lost liberating the Netherlands from German occupation in WWII, she sang at several events across the country, the most prominent being a duet with April Darby, singing ' When you believe', kzitem.info/news/bejne/un1uvYpngHilkpg This concert was in Amsterdam, in the presence of the Dutch Royal family, and a significant number of high ranking politicians, and she absolutely nailed the performance. For me, her strongest performance of this series was in the Hague, a Demi Levato cover of a technically challenging song, 'Father', and she absolutely excelled in this one, an incredible performance. kzitem.info/news/bejne/246NqJ5tZpeVioo From the same concert, another cover, 'Hero', kzitem.info/news/bejne/06WetmSMbHd0hY4 From the same series of concerts, 'You raise me up', kzitem.info/news/bejne/r3-OqGuKm5d-qaw A beautiful home video recorded several years ago during Covid, A Disney film cover, 'Part Of Your World' - @halle (The little mermaid) kzitem.info/news/bejne/yqqu2WGXh6uDfY4 Another song that is special to Emma because of her health situation, a Miley Cyrus cover, 'The Climb', recorded for Tube feeding week. kzitem.info/news/bejne/xYWe4KB6fqd0dZw Even more recent, Emma is going to be singing in a Disney concert in Amsterdam in January, and there was a preview event over the last weekend, and Emma sang a medley of Disney songs, absolutely stunning. kzitem.info/news/bejne/0553spVjm5OLenY I hope this gives you a feel for where Emma has come from, and more importantly, where she's going, there is no doubt that as long as her health situation doesn't change, she will be making bigger and better waves for a long time to come. I am going to close with my normal appeal to everyone reading or listening to this channel, Emma deserves and needs as much support as possible, her foundation, which she initially set up with the €25000 she received as the winner of Ministars in 2023, is working on their objective to help find better treatments, or even possibly a cure for this awful disease. Her foundation is almost unique in terms of the work they are doing. There's been very little research into what is a devastating illness, and at present there is no cure available, the effects on the sufferers are huge, there are many tragic reports of sufferers taking their own lives because they can't cope with the enforced discipline and massive restrictions the disease inflicts upon them. Emma's situation hasn't changed since that first appearance with Andre last July, she is still tied to her two external feeding pumps for 22 hours a day, very much like a boat anchor in size and weight, and I know from recent social media posts, she finds that incredibly hard to cope with at times, despite that she's loving the singing with Andre, which she regards as her therapy. She posted some heart breaking photos and comments from her holiday in Portugal, having to use her wheelchair after a time swimming, even then, at a time when the family were relaxing and enjoying a break away from their normal lives, Emma had no relief, no escape from the mental and physical pain of having to live with the numbing discipline of the 22 hours every day with the pumps attached to her, her ongoing lack of stamina that hugely limits and impacts on her life and desire to be free, and she never talks about the physical pain that so often is a side effect of the failure of her stomach to properly process the contents. Emma's foundation can be found at gastrostars.nl Please, if at all possible, join me in making a (regular) contribution to her foundation, to enable them to help patients like Emma, and research this awful disease that has affected her from birth, and still requires her to be tied to the pumps and feeding tubes for 22 hours a day, hopefully, the work of her foundation will find a cure. Please also be very careful if you post or respond to anything from Emma on social media, her increased visibility has resulted in significant numbers of bad actors creating fake accounts, and looking for money to fund 'special operations', or the like, the ONLY valid web site that supports Emma and others like her is the gastrostars site, anything else is fake and fraudulent, and beneath contempt, please report them. One of the main people in Gastrostars is a surgeon who has a lot of experience in treating gastroparesis, and she is not only a surgeon, but also suffers from the same disease herself, to the extent that as a result of her condition worsening, she's had to leave her role in the hospital, and she is now dedicated to the foundation, and working to help find possible new treatments, or even better the cure that will free people like Emma to live a more normal life, rather than be tied to the feeding pumps for so many hours every day. It will be so good if the work of Emma's foundation can lead to a better treatment, or even a cure, which will free her to do more singing, and it may be people here who make that possible. ,
