This is a top tier video. Your enthusiasm is refreshing, it’s clear you’re having fun with this build. The finished box is astounding. So many clear details, everything precise. I love it. I want that. The only downside for me was the audio was not loud enough. I’m hard of hearing. There was not enough room to turn it up. I really enjoy everything you do, keep it up.

M. Jordan had a house in Park City that my Family managed. During that time and memory serves, as a gift celebrating his 50th Bday from Nike, they gave him a One off pair of Jordans that came in a custom Wooden “Shoe Box”. If I was told they ordered the box from Amazon, I wouldn't have been surprised. They should have used a MUCH nicer box! Something attuned to the box shown in this video. P.S. The Jordans in the box were pretty Sick.

Wonderful work and so well done. I nearly bust a gut laughing, when you dropped that miniature instrument maker's plane on the jointer plane just for that extra ounce of weight for the glue up of the leather to the bottom of the box!

The box looks amazing, gotta love the grain wrap. It never ceases to amaze me, though, how premium, very expensive, obviously resaw oriented band saws never seem to come with even a halfway decent resaw blade, crazy.

@thomasprovencher4611

@@katzmosestools who in their rights mind would buy that saw solely to cut metal! Occasionally, sure, but that fancy coating on the top probably won't appreciate sharp steel being dragged across it... I'm sure woodworking is a small portion of their business so they probably buy metal cutting blades by the pallet for their other saws.

30 secs in - OMG these people seem like such a-holes - what a world we live in that such dedicated and skilled crafts, which are the antithesis of narcissism based and down in the real world of materials and technique, yet are themselves dedicated to the sole attention and aggrandisement of empty money-greased egos. We thought capitalism was about freedom and the expression of individualism, but it turns into something pitiful. I don't guess there's another way to work which honours the hours of learning and sheer slog involved, but we all remember the myth of the village blacksmith, serving the people, taking on the apprentice for the carrying on for when they can no longer function, the ongoing looking after... I despair, but also do love what these people achieve.
