Thanks for brining it up from CA and EY perspective. If you can also make a work life balance video for youngsters , it would be great. I firmly believe , hard work on important aspects and not every work is need of hour. After all one doesnt has to become distributor, producer, director of films before reaching 30 yrs of life.

Just say that I understand that I acknowledge that we are being provided a lot of opportunities for learning, exposure and future career opportunities. But the thing is, may be mentally or physically I am not capable to handle this much work at a time. So if possible, please reduce my work assignments till the time. Or take leaves for some days when you're working stressfully with deadlines. Or else, tell them if they can't do so you should ask them for a respectful exit with commitment to ongoing work completion. And if you get to see that they are respecting your decision or current condition, then rethink once. Try to change your perspective of looking work as a load, rather look it as learnings and early preparation of getting prompt in your work. You'll then find yourself more eager to learn and work hard. But such organisations are rare. I am lucky to be part of one such. But if you still find the work culture toxic with people not understanding your feelings and thoughts, just leave the organization. Maybe you'll excel better at your work in any other organization with lesser work/exposure but more time to explore other creative learnings and opportunities at the same time to have time for your health and family. Try to make decisions according to whether it is worth all your sacrifices.

Kushal, people are sometimes forced to stay with a company due to the debt they've taken on due to late salary payments. However, creating a toxic culture and mocking others can pressure you to make the wrong choices, especially when you hardly have time to spend with loved ones.
