After binge watching Dr. Berg's videos I now take vit D3, K2, Magnesium, B1 (Benfotiamine), B3 (Niacinamide), B12 and Folate daily. And Dr. Berg's electrolytes ocassionally. My brain is SO clear now, I suffered from chronic severe dark cloud- like brain fog for 30 YEARS. I feel like I'm on cloud 9 every day now and its just because my mind is clear. All THANKS to Dr. Eric Berg.🎉 And I havent even started the keto diet (yet). Slowly swapping keto meals for normal meals and observing the difference in energy levels. Carbs make me drowsy/fall asleep/hungrier, MEAT keeps me on an even keel and full for half the day. But the vitamins and minerals are helping me for sure. Vitamin D saved me a few months ago from a semi flu-like debilitating illness. And I know that keto is gonna help me lose the weight also. I put my faith in this man!

Back in 2020, I was taking 15,000 units of vit d3/day. I had a lot of issues that started before my wellness exam. Dr did advise a vit d test due to fatigue and the results showed too much at a "toxic" level. Dr said to decrease it. I asked what are symptoms of too much vit d and he said there isn't research on high levels only low levels. So, how are lab resluts able to analyze the high spectrum if no research or conclusive evidence?

6000 D3 is very low amount especially for people who are suffering from some illness. As the doctor said you need at least 10,000 or more to really make any difference in your immuno response. I take 30,000 daily and i am not even sick or have any health issues. But being older i know the absorption decreases with age, also if the person is overweight, darker skin more D3 is needed to see any health improvement, our gut microbiome can also affect vitamin absorption. I also go in the sun whenever possible there is nothing like it for health benefits there are many.

What would be the reason that small doses of vitamin D supplements cause constipation within days.. but getting 2 hours of July sun or taking cod liver oil daily has no negative effect . I also take magnesium but it doesn't help

As I am the leading Vitamin D Deficiency Channel - I hate how (they) who ever they are - try to suppress the power of Vitamin D .I know why - if we as a people become Vitamin D sufficient alot of problems that they treat will disappear - many of dont even know most our health problems toot cause is by having low Vitamin D.

My mom was suffering greatly. We thought it was her thyroid. Her first blood work came out with her thyroid out of wack. The second test showed she was back to normal. Her Doctor decided to test for Vitamin D deficiency. She was extremely deficient. The Doctor prescribed a week 50,000 ml pill for 8 weeks. She is better but still needs more work. She will go to once a day at a lower dose but still much higher than buying from the shelf after the eight weeks.

Researching Dr. Schelle via Amazon Reviews: I read he recommends 100 - 150 ng/ml Vit D3 blood level, & he achieved Therapeutic Results only w 90 - 150 ng/ml up to 200 ng/ml Vit D3 in blood levels. And that a 2016 European study showed Risk of Cancer drops 90% @ D3 blood levels of 80 - 100 mg/ml. (What I just read this am) . Thank You for Leading Heads Up Research. I now have more information to make my health decisions.

She's probably simply misinformed about vitamins and their relation to health conditions, which is really common with doctors of western medicine. Unfortunately (and sadly), nutrition isn't a big focus in medical school or taught to be used as a first line method of healing the body. Pretty ironic.

I understand what you're saying about Big Pharma and vitamin D misinfo, but what about the fact that Vitamin D in pill form is synthetic. I thought that the whole issue of vitamin D toxicity is because it is in pill form. So, what you are saying is that it is actually o.k. to take it in pill form because vitamin D in pill form isn't really synthetic?

Dr Berg, what blood level would you start decreasing your D3 dose? Reason for asking is that I took 10000 IU daily for over a year and then had a blood test. My level was up to 94 ng so I decreased to 5000 IU per day. Someone I know (small woman) tried taking 15000 IU daily to help with an autoimmune disorder after a blood test result of 28 ng. She stopped after 6 months when the follow up test result was 120 ng. She didn’t have any negative side effects from the high blood levels but everything we’ve read says that 120 ng is the highest you should go. I’m just curious what your thoughts are on ideal blood levels of vitamin D. Thanks!

I got very low vid D was 11 on the range which comes under deficient. Doctor prescribed me 60,000 IU once a week for 8 weeks and then once a month I also now sit in the morning sun for 25 min. Being a 28 years old male, this has helped me by reducing hair fall. Everything was fine earlier too but i was facing a lot of hair fall and i dont know how or why but sitting in the sun has decreased my hair fall
