Outstanding (again) video. You were just striping your drives. I already ordered GT3. Was getting 15 yds carry more off my current gamer which I was shocked about. Dispersion super tight for me as well. Look and feel are tremendous. Your spot on in your review on all 3 Drivers here. Really well done review.

Excellent comparison video, I was fitted into the TSR3 about 18 months ago a few months later I tested the TSR2 again and changed into that driver as the forgiveness and dispersion were much better and the ball speed was within 1 mph of the TSR3, this week I tested both the GT2 and GT3 and they both look amazing especially the GT 2 compared to the TSR2, I gained approximately 2 mph club speed and 5 mph ball speed with both the GT drivers but I chose the GT2 in 9 degrees, I tested several stock and custom shafts but just as was the case with my TSR fitting the Tensei 1K Black 65 TX gave me the best numbers with very tight dispersion so that was what I chose, it offered really impressive performance for a stock shaft.

Hey there from Scotland. I loved the video and I agree with others, the most informative & helpful video on the GT Range of Drivers. I have an older Tsi2 with a Hzrdus Black stiff flex and it is a fairway finder for sure. I am very intrigued by the GT2 and I'm giving serious consideration to a GT2 & GT3 fitting locally. I'm not necessarily a Titleist dedicated player (played TM most of my days) but having owned the Tsi2 for 3 years and seeing just how forgiving it is for me, I think Titleist do indeed put more effort in within their 2 year cycles. I'm excited to have a fitting now 🙂

Absolutely nailed the details in this video. Most thorough I’ve seen, again. I’ve been gaming GT3 8 15 18 for a few weeks now and found the exact same with my GT3 performance vs. my former gamer TSR3 8*. My miss is slightly into the heel which is punishing (spins up significantly) with TSR3 and a non-issue with GT. Can’t wait for you to try the FW! Cheers dude

This was one of the best honest reviews I've watched so far. I experienced the same thing with GT2 when testing. I kept gravitating back to it because of the forgiveness, while also still getting good spin and ball speed numbers. I thought it would launch and spin too much, but that was not the case. Ultimately, ordered the GT2.

Love my GT2 and I agree the lines on the face do make it appear more lofted. The GT certainly feels better and is more consistent/forgiving then my TSR2, and a little quicker. I was fitted for the 1K Blue but I'm not convinced that's the best option for me from my on course experience, but great that Titleist is offering such good quality stock shafts. Trying my Ventus Velocore+ Blue now which could be a match made in heaven.

From what I saw in early testing, speed was up 3-5mph. Distance not much different, forgiveness a bit better. Basically if you recently bought a TSR, it’s not worth spending 650 to replace it. If you have an older driver get the GT2. There’s a reason more pros put that specific model in play

Pros are very effecient with their delivery and ball striking and don’t generally need a driver that reduces spin like the GT4. High speed players that play a cut are a good candidate for it.

The real test would be the TSi4 versus GT3. Both have front weight. New crown in GT3 vs TSi4 ATI face....Those are the best two drivers by titleist yet to date. GT3 10° vs TSi4 9° would be the greatest comparison. The higher lofted 10° GT4s are money too (more aerodynamic than the 8° GT4) AND FOR FUCK SAKE TITLEIST- quit changing the weights!! Love you still

Ball speed/carry distance numbers don't add up. PGA tour average ball speed is 171 with 282 carry. Not sure how you get 304 yards with similar ball speed unless you can somehow defy laws of physicis.
@charlesjeter5508
14 күн бұрын
You need to take spin into the variable. With perfect efficiency. You multiply 2.61 per mph of club head speed. Spin and loft are other variables to take into consideration. 108 mph club speed can get you 300 with all things perfect.
@DonaldFordham
12 күн бұрын
@@charlesjeter5508 pretty sure the tour players are maximizing all the variables. To carry 300, one needs around 120 mph, no other way to get there and no one is getting 300 carry out of 108 mph driver speed.

Not all clubs are suited for everyone! I got fitted with the STR3 because of my fast-swing speed. Which I have tried 7 other drivers. Point being is that you might be doing a review on the drivers but get the correct stats of the fitted clubs for you... This could be a sales pitch because the GT's have come out... *GET FITTED* PEOPLE! EVERY PERSON IS DIFFERENT! I'm a Callaway fan and hated Mizuno but once I got fitted with the clubs that worked best for me ended up being the Mizuno 245 irons... Over the Callaway, Titleist, TaylorMade etc.
