I bought a Respawn Spire last week when you recommended it as a chair for guitarists. So far, I'd have to say it's not perfect, but it's the best guitarist chair I've found. The seat is more stable than mesh seats, which is important when you're trying to hold a guitar still while you play. The bucket sides are low enough that they don't hit the guitar lower bout. Guitarists often like to rest a foot on the chair base and some chairs are uncomfortable when you try to do that in stocking feet, but the Spire is fine. The seat is a little warmer than I'm used to, and I'll have to wait for summer to see if that's a problem, but so far it seems tolerable. The seat is definitely comfortable after an hour or two of sitting, so that's a plus. The arms can be swung out of the way with one hand while you're holding your guitar with the other. The arms can easily be brought back up when you set the guitar aside and are ready to sit for an extended mixing session at your desk. I'm a little worried about the back mesh coming out like you show. The chair seems oddly tall. I'm 5'9" with a 31" inseam and at the lowest position, my feet just barely reach the floor flat footed. I'm getting a clanking in the mechanism under the seat when the back returns to the neutral position after reclining (I have the seat slid forward a bit) and that's a bit annoying. Do you get that?

If it had a flat seat with those arms, it'd be perfect for cross legged sitting.

But then you would fall out in corners while gaming.

Hi, amazing video as always! Based on your advice and availability in Europe, I am undecided between two chairs the steelcase gesture and the ergohuman gen2. And then in general, I wanted to ask which of the two you recommend. I have tried them both, the ergohuman on the moment gave me a wow effect that no other chair had given me, but I could try it for a short time and some doubts about the posture I have; while the gesture I could try it for longer time and I know for sure that even after several hours the seat doesn't give me problems. Thank you in advance for your response and time!

Seems promising! What other ergonomic chairs offer armrests which can be moved completely out of the way?

When he mentioned people always ask about retractable arms, have they made a video or recommendation for those chairs? I'm looking to get a "lifetime" chair so no budget, but I play guitar and other instruments so need the arms to vanish

I'm always nervous sitting in my top of the line embody chair when another ergonomic gaming chair comes out that looks like it can give it a run for the money. This would certainly have been easier on my wallet, and looks like it might be better than the destrier, but doesn't yet make me regret coughing up for the embody.

I like when chair has lumbar support. So for me, it’s definitely minus of this chair. And I like soft arm pads as in Herman Miller aeron.

Any video for the embody with atlas headrest? I need a chair that I can recline in and have a headrest in. Watching from Canada - currently use the gesture and while it's good, it's not perfect. Being able to lie down though seems really interesting on the racer chairs... didn't know you could do that. Looks pretty good. But Not sure if I shold try it out.
