If you can get a piece of 3 inch x1/2 x8 pvc then it works as a really really straight edge fence

I see what looks like 2"x6" material glued up. have you had any warping to the top yet. And was it for outdoor use? Was it treated or not? I have a jig like that I made years ago, but used it on Red Oak for a Dinner table made up of 2"x2" glued. Great Jig and very well shown.

It's an indoor table and, yes, I had to deal with some warping. It's wood from the skids this business' equipment came on, so it was very wet and construction-grade. I let it acclimate for a couple of months, but it still moved after assembly.

I noticed that with the plung router the router is mounted to the top of the jig on half inch plywood. I have a fixed router so do I need to use a thinner plywood for my jig ? I getting ready to cut out a 48” table top . Thanks for the video.
@OutoftheWoodwork

It really depends on the total depth your router and how thick the table top is. You should be fine, you'll just have to drill a hole to set the router down into to start.

What router bit did you use to cut the table? Some how I missed that.

I used a 1/2" D x 1 1/2" L spiral bit....4" overall length.
