I was surprised she mentioned the whole inviting elders to eat as that's traditionally done more up north. I thought southerners have abandoned that tradition?
@MrDuong12
Жыл бұрын
As southerners, we never adopted that "tradition" , so you can not say that we abandoned that tradition, I felt very uneasy and uncomfortable to sit at the table, surrounded by northerners, and invite every body to eat.

I'm not sure where it's done but when we went to her hometown and I stayed at her family's house in Ninh Thuan she reminded me to do that when we had meals with her parents, and then when we were at other family members houses I was also reminded to do that.
@doodahgurlie

@@MrDuong12 Tyler clarified it's done in her immediate and extended family living in Ninh Thuan. So either her family came from the north or it's something that's also done in the south since her family lives in the south.

Bentley, please stop saying that you are eating sea weed soup. They used a big leaf such as a Chinese Mustard Greens. When the mustard leaves are chopped up and cooked down, they might have a soft texture like sea weed, but it is not sea weed. Keep up the good contents, and maybe one day you will have as many subs as Max, Chris, and Dustin.
