Lol Filipino-taste Italian foods are sometimes hit or miss (not all). I would avoid that bechamel sauce...I too am confused as to whether it is a main or a dessert 😂. It’s because of Filipino sphaghetti (like Jollibee)...where sweet takes over savory. However, I’ve had some pretty good Italian food there, usually owned by an Italian expat or someone who has had some training or experience in Italy as there are a lot of Filipinos who live in Italy as well.

I have been living in the Philippines for 9 years and love the malls here. They seemed so large when I got here, but I got used to them. I went back to the US a few years ago, for a visit, and the malls were so tiny - and empty. The Philippines has some great malls! 😎

Hi I've been working here in Taiwan for 8 years now, I'm a Filipina. I love taiwan but one of the things I missed in my home country is our mall, specially SM. it's quite different here in Taiwan. The malls are expensive and people are fewer compare to ours. And the food of course, specially the foodcourts, we have much more food varieties and cheaper. Thanks for featuring my country. I love taiwan though, it's my second home😊

Hey gurl, while most people go to the malls to shop, I go to the mall for the food courts. But like you said there are just so many choices that I actually end up walking around first looking for something to call out to me. One of the things I always look forward to whenever I come home are the mall's food courts. We just don't see the same kind of food courts here in the US. Thanks for sharing and for making me hungry, again! :-) Take care and stay safe!

Hi TJ, the melon you had at the food court is actually called chayote, a kind of squash. In filipino, we call it sa yo teh (sayote). It is sweet and we would also add that to our tinola soup. They are normally seasoned a lottle salty so it goes well with rice.

Hi TJ! Love watching your vlogs. Regarding the sweet taste of the pizza and the pasta, it is because the cheese they used is the Sweet and Creamy variety. Thus making it taste like custard.

My condo is just across Robinson’s galleria. I practically live there, except now ( lockdown) 🙁You’re right it’s not even the biggest mall but it’s just right by me. Almost everything you need is there. Including the food of course. But it’s slowly opening up now! Food court included - mostly take out but a few are open for dine in with less customers per table, per space to comply with social distancing.
