Funny story about the tree with the awful fruit! Yes, if the seed is monoembryonic it won't grow a clone of its parent.

Isn’t ‘ceci love’ a hybrid between indica x rubropedala? Also, I have a gefner that is very unstable, if I were to leave it alone it would likely fall over.

What kind of fruit tree’s do you recommend for northern NC, we are in Rougemont NC? We planted two apple trees and a cherry tree last year.

Hello, seem you are very much into mango. What are 3 best varieties that you would recommend?
@FruitfulTrees

It really depends on each person the best variety. For example some people will say Cary is their #1, while others will say they don't like the favor at all.

I live in a coastal location and so far I thought the source of my problems was the wind. Trees do not grow much after two years and hate the winter here (zone 10). It looks like this guy has lots of wind and no protection from that

might have just been an unusually windy day? He has a lot of wind break/ dense vegetation surrounding his property. That certainly helps on a windy day like that. The very tall trees outside the windbreak though makes it clear trees can grow quite tall in his area. Here in St. Pete (zone 10a), if you travel about 3 miles from my house in either of three directions, you'd reach coastline, so I guess I'm considered coastal? It's very rarely windy where I am. In fact, it seems there's usually not even a breeze. Trees grow massive.
