@@slammerlo510 You are an idiot living in your own pathetic bubble. Barret's videos are also available on Chinese exclusive platforms, so both Chinese and foreigners can see them. Richard's grandpa crumbled up his own painting, because Chinese people are hospitable and humble at the same time. He wanted to give Barret a painting as a gift, but he wasn't happy with his first drawing. He crumbled it up and offered to give him a better one. Just because you are a pathetic little worm refusing to believe the goodwill and hospitality of another people doesn't mean people are actually like that. I am kind of understanding why his grandpa destroys the work after that. It reminds me some of my life in China back to my childhood. At that time I was practicing my writing, I wished to write something on a pile of paper that I cherished for years. Each time when I wrote down something I felt that was not “perfect” and I ruined until that pile of papers got less and less. That’s something about perfectness or not good enough to present something. More and more practicing makes the best.

This is better "soft power" than the party could ever produce! Wonderful video and a cool kid.
What a treat with your private tour guide through the village where Richard grew up. Just curious how Richard is able to maintain his English with Kiwi accent still there after all these years...thank you for sharing the realistic village lifestyle instead of the larger city lifestyles

What a polite and mature young man you found in this village! He is obvious very proud of his grandfather. It’s always pleasant to watch young people with proper manners

@@asahiglass It is okay as some local dialects in China are not easy to understand. Mandarin is just the name of the official Chinese language. It is created for people to understand each other easier.
