The biggest issue I have with this is if you lose the key, you basically just lost your gun. You said yourself, there is probably no way to get it out without destroying the gun itself. The other issue is, it’s exceedingly slow, so if you need access, you might as well bend over and kiss your rear end goodbye.

4:55 lol, having grown up with firearms in the house all my life, trigger discipline is so deeply engrained in my mind I actually catch myself instinctually doing it with anything that even remotely feels like a gun in my hand like drills and spray bottles.

Real on the spray bottles, guns aren't even legal in my country but I watch so much gun content on line trigger discipline is ingrained in me even tho I've never held a gun

Interesting and cool concept. I think a safe is much more secure. This would be good though if you’re traveling and spending the night with a family member and/or kids, and don’t have your safe with you.

Can you completely remove the slide when the "mobile mag" is in the locked position? Assuming you can't because you can't pull the trigger.

GOSAFE advocates that if it's on you, to keep in unlocked and ready to fire. Only lock it when you're not in possession of it. As soon as your gun is back with you, unlock it so it's ready to use.

What happens if it malfunctions when you put in the key? After all, not everything is perfect.. It is a good idea though if you want the bad guy to wait while you unlock gun. Sorry but a safe or your gun on your person does the same job. 10:51

I think this is a little gimmicky, you should not leave a firearm in plain view at any time, conceal on your person or have it in a place for you “only” to get to it to use it in a threat situation.

An ordinary safe is typically in a fixed location. This allows one to lock the gun and put it in any drawer in the house.
