As a singer myself, having trained quite a lot of people and as a person who enjoy both live performaces from Park Hyo Shin and Dimash, I have to say both are great, but it's kind of wrong to compare them. They do different genres and it's like you're comparing two completely different but both amazing things. I don't know how much you guys know about music, but I think you guys prefer the fast type of music, that gets you in the feel quickly and the music that goes high but relatively simple in technique. As for me, I love the slow music that really builds up emotion, and slower ones tend to be much more difficult to sing. So normally, I would choose Park over most singers (because his technique when singing is very detailed and really difficult to master, trust me) but if I had to choose a song to hype myself up and simply scream my lungs out, I would watch Dimash's performance.

As a both Dimash and Park Hyo Shin fan, I am never gonna compare them, both do a lot of genre and yes I know almost nothing about vocal style and technique but to me ballads/rock ballads suits Park the best, whereas popera/ rockera is Dimash's speciality. Listening to Dimash brought me to Park Hyo Shin( not by reaction/ comparison video) and I am so happy for that. All we gotta do is enjoy music. That's what music is for.

He's widely accepted at least top 3 best singers in Korea. His story is actually really sad because when he was younger his agency overworked him. Today you see k pop singers collapse on stage but Park hyo shin was overworked to the point where sometimes he would end up in the hospital, then a couple days later perform at another concert. When he left the agency he got sued, lost, filed for bankruptcy. He wrote this song while serving in the military with his best friend Jung jae il (pianist) you might know him as the lead director for music in Parasite.

Park Hyo shin atleast sings live and sounds better than the recordings. Dimash uses playback 95% as per usual in russian tv and if he isn't he avoids the harder parts, presents the mic to the audience for singalongs etc. Dimash is untouchable in the studio recordings but it also makes life very difficult for him as he can't reproduce the same complexity 100% live.

@@TheBr3akRoom Hi- longtime Soultree here (PHS fanbase). Just a btw- while many label PHS as a power balladeer- he's more singer-songwriter who fuses various genres together. In short he's a chamaeleon and can sing any style from Rock to Theatre to RnB (his main wheelhouse is NeoClassic Soul) to Pop to AC. I noticed most comments keep suggesting more of his ballads for reactions. Here's some up/mid tempo selections: "The Castle of Zoltar" "다시 내게로 돌아와"/"Come Back to Me" "스토킹"/"Stalking" "리라"/"Li-La" "사랑이 고프다"/"I Promise You" The above tracks are a little of everything genre wise and show the versatility of his voice and music. Also- he suffers from spasmodic dysphonia which is why he altered his singing style mid-way through his career (debuted at 18 in 1999). #Enjoy ✌🏽

This is a bit long but I believe worth reading. Favorite song by Park Hyoshin was filmed by a fancam from his “Happy Together 2015 concert” titled “ It’s you” with ENG SUB (English subtitles click the 4:00 Version). No official version. He soars in the heartwarming song. So hyang one of my favorite female vocalists but I have a request that you react to her closest and best friend, “Park Ki Young”, I prefer Park Ki Young because they both have about the same vocal range but Park Ki Young is a tad more versatile and can belt them with equal emotional impact and power in rock, pop, soul, jazz , flamenco, and classical ( opera). And her vibrato is a bit more rounded. A few of my favorites that are worthy of reacting to: ( either privately or publicly) KZitem: “ Nella Fantasia “ ( 4:08 best version ever and I’ve watched and listened to all the world class vocalists perform this) “ Goodbye a word that’s too short” ( click 5:08 one she’s in the celestial realm and sustains the last note a long time. An Soul / R& B masterpiece. “wound” ( emotionally impactful 5:57 duration with the blue strobe lighting. Another amazing soulful performance ) ““ So hyang” receives a lot more reactors and reactions than Park Ki Young” because of her ability to sing many popular American songs in English which she performs with emotional impact. But please don’t judge a vocalist by the number of requests you receive-altho your fans are usually right. But my singing friends unanimously agree that both So Hyang and Park Ki Young are not only world class vocalists but equal in talent. What I’m trying to say is I believe Park Ki Young deserves far more reactions and I promise you and your subscribers who love So Hyang ( and I am among them) that you won’t be disappointed listening to a Park Ki Young song. They are both about the same age ( early 40s but look amazing for their age!) and the closest and best of friends. Please start your Park Ki Young Journey with Nella Fantasia” Now that you know what a fabulous voice she has, you may want to publicly react to any of the following that showcases her ability to perform in a multitude of genres. ** * soul “Goodbye a word that’s too short” ( click 5:08 one she’s in the celestial realm and sustains the last note a long time. *Soul “wound” ( emotionally impactful 5:57 duration with the blue strobe lighting) *Flamenco“ “To You” ( awesome flamenco beat. If you love flamenco, you will love her performance!Click the 4:28 posted by KBS) ** Rock “ Spring Rain” ( rock /soul with an emotionally impactful and incredible raspy voice ending. 6:53 posted by KBS) All ParkKiyoung songs I recommend are live performances. Again, I love Sohyang but hope you give her closest friend a chance to showcase her world-class talent. Now for a young Russian singer who at age 14 stunned the world with her EPIC rendition of an old wedding song. It catapulted her to to international stardom and she has millions of fans worldwide. Her name is “ Diana Ankudinova” and she possesses the most unique mesmerizing memorable amazing atavistic tribunal primordial shaman goddess voice in the world -any age. As mentioned, At age 14 her incredible and legendary performance of an old ritual wedding folk song titled “ rechenka” ( River in English) Is -to this day-considered by many professional vocalists and coaches as the most unique and mesmerizing live performance by a vocalist -any age , in the history of Russian talent shows. And along with “ Human” ( low notes to die for.. she’s a rare dramatic contralto ) and “ Wicked Game” contributed to her winning not only the kids “ you are super contest for 2 consecutive years organized for orphans and those adopted but catapulted her to international stardom. It her backstory is incredible. Her birth mother had 1 believe 14 abortions and wanted abort Diana but gave birth and abused her so bad that at age 3 she was traumatized and could not talk and was placed up for adoption and in the orphanage what turned out her new mother who adopted her discovered when she was 5 she began not to talk but to sing and her new mother had a professional voice teacher begin giving her singing lessons and the rest is history. Sorry for the rude comments when it comes to Hyoshin people can be really protective of him. You see hes been abused by his past companies alooot to the point where he gave up being a singer. This song him and the piano player made together while they were in the Army. He gets emotional every time he sings this song because he wrote it to be a comeback song after so many years of abuse (also its just speculation that he also wrote it for his best friend that committed suicide).Hyoshin also has Dysphonia which is a illness affecting the voice which causes people voices to be raspy and make it hard to speak even. Its amazing that hes given 20 years through all of that, people are so quick to judge you guys without saying why they are protective. Respect the honest opinion. I think ballads are just not their jam. Obviously it's not their preferred genre. I think most people these days are so used to fast music with hard or catchy beats. That's most of the music nowadays. I really appreciate this completely unrushed performance, music that just takes its time, starting calmly, building the story to its climax and just focused on the vocals and the emotion with simple instrumentation. A breath of fresh air to me. But I understand slow ballads are not for everyone

I#m not sure if anyone has already commented about the background of this song, but hes most likely crying because of a good friend who commited suicide (recent to the song), as well as the fact he had a problematic situation with his company. So yeah, theres a lot of emotion behind this song. He is most likely remembering his friend while singing, so its hard to keep away the tears. Plus he couldve been struggling with many other things as well, while singing live, and just broke down.

Some ppl just ear too greasy to listen to this kind of music. PHS he is one of the legend singer out there with low profile, more concentrate with his music career than others stuff. All the songs he sings..he sang with all his heart and emotion...tat is why a lot ppl like him so much. Watching and listening on TV didn't really feel much. If you are there LIVE. Most ppl will defnitely fell in love with his voice. ps/ Dimash is another different genre than him..can't compare. Dimash is a typical opera singer..honestly i don't like his vocal much...high pitch or high note is not all it takes to be greatest singer.

With all due respect, (I love Dimash and Park Hyo Shin both), Dimash is not a typical opera singer. He has a huge classical infulence but he sings and fuses other genres too. You may not like his high note, that's completely your opinion and I am okay with that. But if you listen to his songs you will know that he is not all about high notes. All I want to say music is for our enjoyment, to refresh us. We all may have a particular fav (I don't tho), but saying incorrect things about others isn't a good thing to do.

The song title is "A tiger is coming down" kzitem.info/news/bejne/tKOKuJWJoGSXh4Y A tiger is coming down, a tiger is coming. A beast is coming down through the deep valley in the pine woods. His body is freckled. His tail is stuffed. which is longer than a grown man's fathom. Making the high hills shiver, his front leg is like a quiver, his hind paw is like a jar, Both ears are ripped ajar. Brandishing his sickle claws, 'Charrrr!' He splashes grass roots and pebbles. Opening his crimson jaws, 'Worirung!' he rumbles. Like the sky falls and the ground settles down, The turtle hides his head and on the ground bows down.

I think, they just didn't into the culture. And you can see the real reaction after intermission part (almost ending of this song). I think they did not expect it from Hyo Shin. But they realize that Hyo Shin really good after the song finish. They just didn't into that song because of the culture and preference. Anyway, I still can't accept when they keep repeating that HE CAN SING. He is not only can sing, he really can give to you the emotion from his sing.

Since I noticed that you are checking every comment left on this video, I cannot help correcting some fact about the reason he cried. I saw the comment saying he was crying because he was underrated when he debuted. But, it is not ture. First and foremost, he is never underrated since he debuted. Second, He mentioned through an interview that whenever he sing this song it reminds him the period he was conscripted and served the army. (2011-2012) During the time, He had legal troubles with his management agency and the court's decision sided with the agency. (it charged him about 3,000,000,000 won = 3 million dollars.) Actually, he had struggled ever since he signed a contract, 2006 for instance, he couldn't afford to rent a place to practice because agency didn't pay him. And the agency forced him to perform a lot, sometimes he noticed that he have to perform several concerts right next month through an internet article which means,,,, they also have a communication problem. He even collapsed few times while preparing these unreasonable schedule. he got spasmodic dysphonia after that. So he broke the contract with his agency, and of course agency sued him. That's why he was charged a lot of money after. Anyway, he even lost his house by a compulsory auction(?) (I mean, the auction which selling someone's belongings when they couldn't able to pay the bill.) while he was in the army, and after the discharge, he filed for bankruptcy. After few years, he found new agency, And this song is the first song released after all of this. (2015) So.. that's why he became so emotional when he sing this song. (#CTTO)

...technical skills don't always mean everything. You can hit the highest note, but if you can only move ears, not hearts, by doing that, it's just another talent show, not a performance. Also, stability wise and stage presence perceptions can get influenced a lot by the type of music the artist is performing. It would for sure not click if PHS would throw theatrical faces while singing about his best friend's suicide...

Check out the covers of Park Hyo-shin's Luther Vandross or Eric Bennett songs. He sings these songs on an acoustic guitar or minimal accompaniment. I think if Dimarsh sings the same song under the same conditions, he will never be able to outperform Park Hyo-shin. kzitem.info/news/bejne/w4xo1G2kkHZ1dqA 130308 Hurricane(Eric Benet cover) kzitem.info/news/bejne/sYCNmYubjZx6emU 130308 Sunday morning (Maroon5 cover) 2009 superstar(Luther Vandross version) kzitem.info/news/bejne/t2-lzJWpgKCHa3o
