I’ve been on both ends, roughing cable or smart hands. It doesn’t matter we’re all on the same team.

Who the fuck did the wireless survey and decided to put the AP next to a massive metal column??? 😂

Very good question, The customer requested the device placed there as a station with employees would be directly underneath it. Sometimes the best of plans can be changed by the customer who is paying for the job.

@@edtheoldtechguy and it's up to the engineer to advise them against that since they hired you to give them a reliable network installed with best practices in mind. Could of moved it 10 feet away and that group of people would have still had the same connection

@jmhm17 You are trying to quarter back from your armchair on things you don't understand or know about. You can advise, draw up on visio, and push on the customer to do the right thing, and they will still demand what they want. Sometimes, you just have to do it their way and have them sign a waiver, then come back when it works like crap. The funny thing is that this unit did get moved, and I had to double charge them for it. The site is evolving with a very inexperienced customer who believes they know better. The customer even started running their own low voltage because they want to save. Please don't assume so much when you only have a 60 second goof video to go on.

This video was made by my buddy Jwho. We ran the wire together. He loves to poke fun at engineers , and I was the engineer on site hanging the AP. It's a tongue and cheeck humor, brother. He is just playing.

Hater. Its called parts and smarts. He is way more intelligent. He pays you $50 an hour, charges his customer $65 an hour for your work. After your done, he comes with the parts, uses his smarts to program ot and the head end. Once his easy work is done, he sends the bill and he's lile "Look what I did."
