Counter points: Frequently cited bearish arguments and my response: 1. It is only a handful of stocks driving the market. Response: those 7 or 8 stocks happen to have a huge market cap, so their rise is visible, but there are many other stocks doing very well, even better than the "big 8". For examples, check out what ELF, PHM, BLDR, ADBE and PANW are doing. 2. Valuations are too high. Response: which valuations? NVDA? Who said you should be buying NVDA? How about companies with PE between 5 and 10 and giving you 2-10% Dividend? Examples: STLD, ATKR, CTRA, DVN 3. Fundamentals of the economy are bad Response: yes they are. What does that have to do with the stock market? The stock market stopped reflecting the economy a long time ago due to central bank and government interventions. 4. This is a bubble like the dot com bubble. Response: yes, and even worse. Again, why would that prevent you from buying good quality stocks? If you went in a time machine back to 1998 or 1999, would you not buy MSFT or CSCO even though you know the market would crash in 2000? 5. If you hold on to these high flying stocks and the market crashes, you will lose all your money Why would you hold on to a declining stock? If you don't know how to place a 10% trailiing stop loss on a stock, you have no business investing in the first place. 6. The Fed will raise rates more and crush the market Response: so why didn't they raise this time? It is because he knows he can't because it would crush banks. He is using talk instead of action, but that won't work for long. The market sees through the Fed's lies 7. Interest rates are too high. The market can't survive that. Response: it has and it will, not because the economy is strong. It isn't. It is because CPI is rigged and under-estimates inflation. So now real inflation is 12% and the real interest rate is -7%, highly accomodative.

Cory, You analysis is correct. The market is in a “ Bull trend”. Microsoft, Apple, Amazon, Google, Nvidia and last Friday Tesla had a “ Golden cross” , which is a very bullish sign. Those tech giants are pulling the markets, regardless what anyone says. Anyone, who wants to play on the stock market has to know a “ golden rule “ in the business 📈! What is the “ golden rule “ in the business? The man with the gold make the rules.

Interest rate hikes and their effects on the mkts has a lag effect of 12-18 months. So calculating they started raising interest rates in March 22 would mean as of now the mkt would have worked 1.5% of rate hikes. Still have a long way to go to get to 5%. Granted the market is forward looking but IN MY OPINION I do believe eventually revisit 3800 or lower. POSSIBLE pit stop around 4500 or so. But lower from there. I do not believe the coast is all clear. Just one man's opinion. I just may be humbled.

More immediately than a collapse in the stock or real estate markets, inflation directly impacts people's standard of life. It is hardly surprising that the present market attitude is so negative. If we are to live in this economy, we are in dire need of assistance. ETF and stock markets are still unpredictably volatile, just like the housing market. My $370,000 portfolio has been reduced to rubble.

@@royalloyalty8745 Its not a bull market. It is a bear rally (a bull trend in a down market).
