I used to tell people I’m sick and tired of bi*ches!!!! U know what I mean! Just be way way too much! Those locks were all of it and then some OK! I think the plaintiff just has buyers remorse. Which is why she added the rash story She wanted to bolster her claim. She seemed dissatisfied with the style/appearance of the locs when she was still at the salon. She complained they looked too big. Then when JMM asked what those metal clips were in her hair, the plaintiff said she was attempting to retwist her hair to make it look better. And this was AFTER she allegedly had the rash. 😤🤥🤥 Why would she want to preserve a hairstyle that gave her a rash? 🤥🤥

What really makes me cross is that the hair stylist probably spend hours in the Plaintiff's hair. With many of these hair products, they can cause a rash. I don't know if you watched the whole thing, but you can tell that the Defendant takes pride in what she does. I have had braided hair styles (my hair has now all broken and I really want it to start to grow again) and the stylist often spends the whole day doing my hair. @@INDIGO.GODDESS_573 I'm not sure if you're responding to me but neither I nor the OP implied locs are sold that way. However, it seems as if that's what the plaintiff EXPECTED to get and that's what the OP and I are talking about. We were talking about the plaintiff's expectations. Moreover, although they do have locs which are cut straight from someone's head which are then washed, cleaned, dyed etc. and then sold; they're very expensive, usually handcrafted and hard to find because most people don't cut off their locs (they usually comb it out). You will have to know a hairdresser who does this (that's probably why the plaintiff made the post). Moreover, IF Virgin/Remy etc. hair extensions are made from hair which people cut off and then sold which are then chemically processed, dyed etc. Then locs can also be done the same way. Furthermore, those human hair beauty supply locs are sometimes virgin/Remy etc. 'standard hair' that are then chemically processed, dyed etc. and manufactured to look that way. Locs just like other hair extensions are made in many different ways and not because you have never come across these locs doesn't mean they don't exist. You just have to know someone who does it.

The general population will say that hair you grow yourself is real and wearing a wig or getting extensions is fake. I speak for the masses. Why are you questioning basic English vocabulary as a personal attack on me?

Based on the hair she purchased she would have to create the loc extensions by crocheting a bulk piece of hair to match the density of her actual hair. It is possible to make the extension thin, thick or medium but it’s based on client desire, size of partings and hair texture. Her hair would then have to be twisted and put under a dryer to set and finally the extensions get attached by braiding then securing them with the crochet technique. Natural hair takes time to form the loc. In the picture you see the hair “budding” (hair swelling which is a normal process in the locking stage) and inconsistent in texture. There has to be maintenance routines done every 4 weeks especially for freshly dreaded hair to reinforce the loc until the hair matures. If the stylist failed to mention this in her consultation, this could be one of the reasons for this dispute. In regards to the rash, it is possible to be allergic to pre packaged hair whether it is synthetic or real due to a coating manufacturers layer the hair with to aid in shine and softness. Soaking the hair in vinegar usually helps if the hair is synthetic, if the hair is real a simple wash will do. If it is a true allergic reaction you would see swelling and redness around the eyes and scalp and surrounding areas. Contact dermatitis may also happen but you would see symptoms within 30 mins of contact to the skin. If she had redness in the back of her neck it may just have been irritation from the locs rubbing against the back of her neck. None the less a thorough consultation could have raised awareness to all of these common issues.

I agree with most of what you said however contact dermatitis can occur up to 24 hours after coming in contact with an allergy depending on the circumstance i.e. if there a cut on the skin, dryness of the skin, contact with the eyes, face, nose, and mouth. One of the most common factors is not bathing after coming in contact with the allergen them sleeping in said allergen overnight and not eating pillows, cases, sheets, etc. Good info you shared!

I see now why Douglas gave a heavy sigh before swearing them in. He knew what was about to occur. 🤦🏽♀️ These ladies weren't as prepared as they should've been. The plantiff presented herself as demur, kind, etc. but her texts revealed her true self. She couldnt even lie correctly (if that's even possible) when the judge asked about leaving her son alone. Side note: I use to live in GA and I believe I've seen the Defendant before. I know I've seen her IG account. If I ever return I may look her up. The plantiff, I think Ive seen her before too. Maybe she just has "that face" that comes across as that.

@@KPbouj Same here. There's some woman, that I heard of constantly, was going into bars and clubs I've never attended. A female yelled, "Hey girl..." then proceeded to talk to me about that weekend. I told her I wasn't that lady but "...when I see her, I'll adk her not to do anything crazy..." It's weird to have that happen. 🙂

@04:24 --> Buying hair oil is just common sense. The Plaintiff said it as if she was doing the Defendant a favour. With certain styles, it is essential to keep the hair moist using items such as sprays or moisturisers.

I have extremely sensitive skin and anything can trigger a flare up. When I get my hair braided I always do a vinger and water rinse then get it installed the next day. All you have to do is wash the hair before the install. That's it that's all. This is so extra and for no reason.

There’s a certain percent of synthetic they can mix with human hair and call it 100% but you can’t lie and say synthetic is human hair. It’s certainly not the best hair and because of where it’s manufactured and the chemicals they still use on the hair she probably had a reaction. She would have to get 100% virgin cuticle hair but that hair alone would have cost her 2000.
I love the questionns at the end. I would always wonder the same thing. I was also raised to not depend on a man but I’m taking a break off of that “way of thinking “ for a little bit. 👀👀

The defendant said that only human hair is used for locs. That is false. There are faux locs, meaning synthetic. As a stylist she knows that. To me the hair that the defendant used looked synthetic. Hair sellers can be unscrupulous and try to pass off mixed or"blend" human/synthetic as human. When it may only be 20% human and 80% synthetic.

But if the package says 100% human does the stylist have to burn or dye each pack of hair to see how unscrupulous the sellers are? That would be waste of time and product. People just have to pick their battles.

@@fintyeli3 I would hope that a hairdresser would have enough sense to know that mass produced hair sold in a pack at a beauty supply store is not really 100% "human hair" be it under the Vivica Fox Brand or any of the other popular commercial hair brands. "Human hair' is not mass produced and packaged. At best whatever is in that package synthetic....the real question for the hairdresser to know is the grade of synthetic...as there is low-grade through high-grade synthetic. The manufacturers use the words 100 Human Hair and people don't question it.

I have just started to watch this. That type of hairstyle takes a long time. For example, braided hairstyles can take over ten hours to do. Even if someone's hair breaks (ie some people who have braided hairstyles often have very short hair at the front), the hair stylist still has spent a significant number of hours on a person's hair. Some people have sensitive hair and/ or skin and there is often a bad reaction to a new style. Unless the hair stylist is very negligent, I do not think that it is fair to ask for one's money back if someone has just spent hours working on one's hair.

Imperfection is part of having locs. They usually don't look perfect if you look closely but they're still beautiful. This is why I hate when people get loc extensions because it always feel like they have as much appreciation or understanding for the journey that comes along with having locs. I'm on the stylist's side in this

Yes, they do come in human n synthetic hair she should’ve used a crotchet/loctican needle to instal properly which she stated she did use but wasnt executed well. Kinky bulk is what is used to achieve this look which is also correct. She had no knowledge about anything or any proof of anything. Girl just do your own natural styles. Problem solved
