Not necessarily. As an ass man, i am not attracted to the sheer size of it, but rather shape, and proportions of the ass, hips and waist combined together. Plot twist: This show isn't a dating show at all. It's a show where the button is controlled by a demon who feeds off of awkwardness and constantly needs fresh sacrifices or else it will escape and end the world. This show prevents that by enabling the demon to ask the dumbest questions in an attempt to create the most nutrients for itself. Each episode only ends when the demon is satisfied with how many awkward conversations it has created and thus how much food it has made for itself as well.

I think this show would become much better with one simple change: the one who presses the button is the one who has to leave. This way the one who risks rejection is the one who gets a second chance, it will encourage people to find the best qualities in each other. However, I think the goal of the show is to create drama so they would never do that.

I guarantee if my wife and I had our first date and there was a button, one of us would have pressed it. Dates are stressful and most of the times awkward, so your fight or flight response is kicking in and 9/10 times leaving would be more awkward then not so you stick through it and realize it wasn’t that bad. Then the next dates get easier and easier. But with the button, now you can “escape” which almost anyone would do when given the opportunity on that awkward first date.

But I do see parallels from what I know is going on nowadays with dating. A lot of us (including me) have unrealistic expectations on how easy, how fitting, how perfect the relationship is going to be. Of course it's important to find the right person, but love certainly has to ripen and it takes time and work. My own brain's pessimism would say: "Yes, dates nowadays are f***ed." Speaking freely, I think it's probably because when a girl rejects so many guys she starts to seem stuck up. "Im too good for you/youre not good enough to date me", kinda thing. So if a guy makes a decent attempt, and the girl rejects him and she does this to multiple guys, subconsciously you might think negatively of her. Theyre also showing that the guys tell the others what happened. If someone said a girl rejected them cuz "his hat didnt go with his shirt", I feel most would think shes shallow. Which pre-conditions them to be less interested or want to reject her, either to avoid getting rejected themself or to pay her back for being shallow/stuck up. There's an episode of the button where a girl rejected like 6+ guys in a row, some for...kinda shallow surprising reasons, & I was pleased when she finally got rejected, kinda wanted to see it happen tbh. Just my opinion though
