All right people, check this out. I work all day with tools in my hand and this tool was a game changer for me. I was using the DeWALT 20V and corded angle grinders for years cutting different things but when Ryobi came out with this tool first, I bought one and it worked great but the best thing was it was LIGHTWEIGHT. As soon as this one came available from DeWALT I ordered one and tossed the Ryobi in the corner. This thing makes working all day cutting tile a breeze...and yes, as soon as that vac came out I got it as well. I actually keep both tools in the carry bag the vacuum comes in.

The multipurpose blade DeWalt gives can be used for metal. I cut 0.05” stainless with it. Cuts like butter. Just remember to remove the plastic extractor hood before cutting metal. Make SURE any blade you buy is rated over 20,000 rpm. There are a lot of 3” blades rated at 10,500 or so. Don’t use those. They may explode!

This saw kzitem.infoUgkx84IcU5pbZd1Qrz8u4-YRLmJax7kdRi7B comes in handy in many ways. When I had a small (dead) tree fall I started the process of disposal by using this saw and cutting off the small branches. Then slowly work on the small trunk with undercutting and letting it fall down. With many trees on acres of land paying for a tree service can be expensive. It also is nice in that it can be used in hard to get areas like along my creek. It's also safer and quieter than a chainsaw. It obviously can't cut down massive trees but it does work fine for small ones or brush. And of course since I already own a Black

It works great for wire shelves. I used it for cutting mine in half so I could stack the washer and dryer where the wire shelf used to be and I used it to clean up wire shelf cuts in the store next to my workshop after my elderly mother cut herself badly in their drink cooler (like, the kind of injury some would sue over). It made quick work of both. I love that the size and control let you bevel edges to avoid leaving sharp cuts.

Based on your recommendation, I purchased the Dewalt Hepa Handheld Vac to use for dust collection, but it does not fit into the dust collection port on the cut off tool because it is too long and tapered. It looks like you may have cut off part of the nozzle on the handheld vac hose. Did you modify the hose to fit the cut off tool extraction port?

I found a solution online. It's not a great solution, but it does work. If you remove the bristles from the round brush that comes with the vacuum (they are attached to a ring that just pulls or twists out), the remaining body of the brush just fits on the dust port of the cut off tool. Not the most secure attachment, but it does work.

It’d take a bit of work. The hinge pin as well as a bit of the front part of the shoe protrude just a tiny amount so you won’t get an edge exactly parallel to the blade.
