In a long distant time I hear my grandparents from Belfast. It makes me laugh so much. Wire in - hungry hole - it’s a geg. Had forgotten that accent existed.

I live in Northern Ireland and was a"wein" when Jimmy was " on the go"( no innuendo intended😂) but I've still kina grew up with his Northern Ireland humour. I live in South Co Londonderry about 40 miles from Belfast where most of his characters are based but I still hear people local to me saying the same phrases and "ways of putting things" as Jimmy does. I laughed😂 when he said the phrase" It was on Monday.... Now was it on Monday?... Yes it was on Monday" when it didn't matter at all WHAT day the event he was talking about happened on. Then I thought to myself " Heck I do that" and I laughed even louder!!😂😂😂 He learnt us over here in Northern Ireland to laugh at ourselves even at things we don't realise we say and do untill we see it in hilarious sketches like this one. I see a lot of Jimmy's style of humour in the Hole In The Wall Gang. Everyone from Northern Ireland will know what "GANG" I'm referring to, unless they've emigrated or have been living on Mars for the lady 20 years or so.😂😂🚀👽( I don't mean living on Mars as in only eating MARS BARS)😂😂😂😂. I have Jimmy's Across The Barricade and Live At The Lyric Theatre comedy compilations on cassette tape which I bought in Grammes ( I don't think I've spelt that right) in Portrush( or "The Port" as we say in Northern Ireland)Sadly that shop is LOOOOOOONG gone.AH MEMORIES!🥲

@@kevinfitz8516 The county was never called "Derry", unlike the city. Co Londonderry is made up of the old County Coleraine and part of Tyrone.

@@AndalusianIrish ninepenny, before decimal currency (1971), he might be referring to the tram when he talks about stage, I don't know I'm only guessing.
