It's not super perfect (thanks cladophora lol), but I also think it's almost at its best!

@@TropiscapeAquatics Oddly I had a big clump of clado in my tank on one particular rock and i added 2 hillstream loaches and they smashed it. It wasn't even something I thought they touched.

Ah, that's something I made in Notion. It's basically a glorified spreadsheet. I might be able to make a Notion template for it in the future if there's any demand for it

I have a chihiros light and I run it on 100% 12 hours a day. I know you gasped and my tank must just be full of Algue but nope. I get the odd specs on the glass and drift wood that get cleaned up by snails or otos. Over all no Algue at all because my nutrients and co2 are balanced. Been running like this for about 6 months now, first month or two where pretty Algue filled now it's balanced, no Algue at all and 12 hours to enjoy my tank

Hello i have a heavily planted tank 20 gallons with soil substrate capped with sand. I use sponge filter. I need flow, oxygen isnt reaching deep parts of the tank down, i have some tetras and shrimps smaller ones, they are struggling against the flow of a hang on back filter..i need flow in the tank without cannister filter how do i achieve that ? Thanks.

I believe there are cheap power heads or wave makers that would help with flow.

@@TropiscapeAquatics I have checked and all of them are strong, I got a flow adjustable HOB filter again, only problem is cloudy water and debris everywhere, I do have sand substrate with some detritus for the plants lol

@@StoopidMonkey08 Nothing like some good ol' fine filter media will do the trick!

I have a 20gal or 75L to be exact. I use a fluval 107 canister filter, you can slow the flow down and turn the head to face the glass to diffuse the flow further. This is what I do, I also have aqua soil, co2 and densely planted. This way you can also run a inline co2 reactor
