This just may be the one. I really like the idea of a comp in the slide so kudos to FDEZ for making a really eye pleasing and useful slide. Finding the right barrell for lockup and getting all the parts to play well is sometimes not easy. 1 FTF when all it needed was a little lube is pretty good considering the gun probably isn't broke in yet. The idea here is to have a custom dependable, flat and accurate pistol and I believe you have shown that with this video. I try not to buy into anyones fandom and pitching one company over the other. Shoot what feels comfortable for you. Lots of great firearm vendors with lots of options and thank God the industry is still with us. Great review!

Excellent build, you should try a Sig Armorer or Grayguns trigger. The Sig Armorer offers a “carry” package that would be perfect for a duty setup. Angry Bear are also a good affordable option for sights as well. I love both the P320 and P365 platforms and will also state that the P320 cannot discharge without the trigger being engaged. Anyone regurgitating such nonsense are really just helping the Bloomberg lawyers pushing these lawsuits on behalf of unprofessional cops. After I got out of the military, I was a cop and was my department’s firearms instructor, active shooter response instructor and armorer. I carried a P320 since the firearm was released. As far as firearms competency is concerned, cops run the gamut from horrendous to exceptional. I will say that only a select few from my experience, actually practiced on their own with their own money. How can someone who calls themselves a professional that carries a firearm as part of their job not keep themselves proficient? Remember a good department shoots once a quarter. This is not enough to stay proficient. The majority of cops will only shoot when the department has official training. Think about that before you start blaming a tool that has been tested by multiple third party agencies, none of which have ever been able to replicate a discharge without trigger engagement. These same types of lawsuits were brought against Glock in the 90’s as departments we’re transitioning to them. The term “Glock leg” came out of this era. Those guns weren’t going off by themselves and neither are these. Love the channel, keep up the good work!

Great review as always! I can’t wait to get my 1811 grip I’m stoked. Currently I have agency/icarus grips on two of my 320s, a Wilson on my agency arms 320, and some variation of x grip on the rest. Right now the Icarus is my absolute favorite (the one joint project with agency just has more texture supposedly) it’s like the OG grip, the x grip, and the Wilson grip all had an aluminum baby. The problem with the p320 for me is people keep coming out with more and more useful parts so I keep trying them out. Also, after your Glock build, I ordered the radian barrel and comp for my G45, that thing is awesome!

I'm rocking an X Series FCU with the 4.7 barrel, Wilson Combat grip module, Apex forward set trigger bar, Odin Armory foldable thumb rest, DPM triple recoil spring and guide rod (long spring + short plug) and a Romeo 1 Pro. It also has a silly yet good looking "reverse" crown (45-degree angle, I think), but only because the previous 11-degree crown was dented, had a ding in it that would throw off shots. You'd miss a silhouette at 10 yards. Shoots pretty good now. It's my EDC. Hopefully, Brazil's current regime loosens up a bit so we can have imported goods again; I'm looking to get this one and the Icarus SOCOM. Just got my Brouwer M1811 grip mod. It’s the best polymer frame grip mod, no question. I’ve had the X carry, X compact, Wilson Combat carry, and the P80. None of them come close imo. I liked the P80 angle but is overly boxy and feels cheap (especially the proprietary all polymer mag release). The Wilson has the same angle as regular 320s it feels like and overall is too small circumference wise. I also despise the boomer looking side texture lol. The X carry extra wide beavertail ledge digs into my thumb knuckle and the angle isn’t great (still much better than a Glock lol). X Compact is very good for compact uses but is a little too small circumference wise. A Large version may be better but still won’t touch the Brouwer. I’ll use it for compact uses but if Brouwer makes one to accommodate 15rnd mags, it’s over for all other grip mods lol. If they’re making metal models soon I hope they have a heavy steel version along with the Aluminum. Also hope they have replaceable G10 side grips. Brouwer put a lot of thought into this grip and it shows.

Thanks for watching. There are definitely ongoing lawsuits regarding the P320. I have looked into many of them. The gen 1 had a definitive issue that was well documented where people could smack in the back with a hammer and it would discharge. They did an updated on the slide and trigger assembly which was supposed to correct the issue. Since that there have been engineers saying its ok that are not affiliated with SIG, and Apex Tactical showed me drop testing from 25 feet until they broke the frame and it did not discharge. However, There is a stigma with this pistol and we shall see how the remaining lawsuits play out.

How did the RMR fit and screw into the slide? Did you have to use an adapter plate or spacer?

This may be a bad question, but would this pistol build fit in a regular p320 holster? Or would you need to have a custom holster built/molded?

Absolutely love my P320 VTAC. Running an MPS on it but really enjoy the Viking Tactics sights and considering just running the irons on this sidearm. Am going to go to the WC grip,

@@TacticalConsiderations Given I've had the MPS and the 509T I only have two items to reference, but the 509 I warrantied twice for the same seal issue and water intrusion and spots in glass I couldn't clean off outside.

Hey, man, so due to the channel and everything. I test my daily careery personally. Change it quiet often which I don't recommend. And it's only because I test stuff. For an EDC set up. I really like to carry a walther pdp f, Glock 43XMOS, shadow cr920p. For compact or full size I prefer walther pdp PRO, glock 45 mos, Springfield echelon

Do you prefer the Brouwer or Icarus grip?
@TacticalConsiderations

For the money the Brouwer is amazing. The icarus is next level but its like 4x as expensive so if you want something that feels like a custom ferrari IC is the way

When relating the cost of your parts, you forgot to give the cost of the original P320 you had to buy to get the FCU. So you are looking at a cost of around $2,000.00 to get a good striker fired pistol. For about $1,300.00 you can buy a Shadow 2 compact by CZ which comes perfect right out of the box. It is about the size of a Glock 19 and I carry mine appendix daily without any discomfort. I am very elderly, and short, but carrying this pistol presents no problem at all. Additionally, the Shadow 2 Compact has a very low bore axis which mitigates recoil so much that my sensitive skin does not suffer, plus the pistol feeds anything you put in it. I carry mine cocked and locked like a 1911, but it can also be carried in the double/single action mode. The trigger is wonderful.
