I really, really like this floorplan. Not for the four bunks, but because I can likely rip one side of those bunks out and throw an office in the back, while still having sleeping space for guests/kids, as well as plenty of seating space in the main living area thanks to the folding bed. This to me looks like an amazingly versatile space for multi-function use. I just wish it had an appropriate amount of cargo capacity given it supposedly sleeps 8. 1,000 lbs is just not even close to being enough. They need to beef up those axles and i-beams, and whatever else they need to make this usable for a family. Bump it up to the full Imagine line if necessary - half tons aren't going to be able to carry all the people with the trailer regardless, so it's silly to restrict the GVWR

This might not be the best place for this but I don't know of any better way of putting this info out. Always be aware of the children at the campsites near you. Almost all the time, they are going to be fine, but keep in mind that camping is a great way to keep an abducted kid away from home for an extended period. I'm not suggesting spying on anyone, but stay smart and aware of kids in unusual situations. If there is some cause for concern, you can quietly ask the campground manager to initiate a discreet well-being check on a family. Chances are good that all is well, but sometimes it is an alert stranger who saves a nasty situation from happening.

It looks like a 22MLE with a bunkhouse added on the end. Then you say it in the video. 🤦♂ By the way we brought ours home yesterday. It is the access to the bed kitchen and bathroom was one of the things that made the 22MLE our choice. I'm not sure what causes the loss of the bed with the Murphy bed. What I noticed on ours is it came in about 200 lbs heavier than the listed dry weight and about 100 lbs heavier on the tongue when the non-optional options package weights are added in. It looks like they went to a rack and pinion slide. I wish ours had come with that. It might be due to the sink being in the slide too. I was thinking a bit more of looking like a vampire which would fix your occasionally getting caught in the mirror. Edit: For the hot water controls I like where they are. They are close to the kitchen and bath since they are used for both areas.

FINALLY!!! Thank You... I am making this the best couples camper for full timers. I plan on removing the two smaller bunks on the kitchen side and replacing with a residential stackable LG Thin IQ direct drive washer/dryer near the sliding door, and desk / office space next to it. I would still keep the larger two bunks for extra sleeping during travel so as to not have to retract the slide. The 1/2 ton tow vehicle will either be the F150 Hybrid with 7.2 kw on board 30 amp bed outlet that uses the trucks fuel tank and inverter generator, or if the Ram REV XR ever goes on sale in 2025/6... Before seeing this model, I was set on the Jayco Feather 21MML as it is the same floorplan and you can use the bed with slide in... but its only 26' and no bunks for extra storage or laundry area... I was looking into removing its pantry and one dinette bench to make space for the stackable residential washer dryer, but found the entry door is only 24" wide...Geez... 2023 is being a very interesting market with all these new floor plans and the amenities the trailers have. The water controls would be better in the kitchen. 1st, that's where you'll need hot water the most, and it stops a kid from messing with it behind closed doors. And speaking of the kitchen, this is a good one. Even with the larger stove you still have a little counter space. I love that the bunk room has windows on the sides and the rear. I can't remember if it has a fan, but even not it will still give nice air flow. (although with young boys a fan would be a +!) It's nice that it's under 30', it sure doesn't seem like it. Until you get to the Murphy bed. But a small discomfort for as much + stuff it has. A back cargo door is a big + too.

Great for a family or an outdoor person/couple with kayaks and bikes. Please add power towers in the kitchen for easier/safer cooking with appliances.

I am a hard stay at 30 feet is why I went to a very good used 5th wheel to get that extra room with recliners.

I like the layout. I love that the bunks are in a "room" Love the rear cargo door. Big fans should be standard. Cargo weight is beyond lame. Sleeps 8 but only 1100 pounds? Tanks are small as well. Challenging for even a weekend.

Nice idea but nit beefy enoug. Tiny tanks tiny cargo capacity. Ought to be able to handle 3 day weekend off grid. More fresh gray black water capacity. Solar/generator?

I would like to see something to hide the queen bed when not in use. Another possibility would be to have the bottom two bunks fold up or be removable for travel storage if you may not need all four beds. Overall a great idea and concept.

i agree i love how Ember and a few other manufacturers actually hide the top of the murphy bed when up. not sure why everyone doesn't do that!

Absolutely amazing to see a manufacturer listen to their customers and give them multiple comfortable seating areas👍the decades old uncomfortable dinette only floorplan can only be justified by claiming that we all want to be outside anyway even when it’s raining😂

That would make a great extended couples camper. I would turn the bunkhouse into a walk-in closet by adding clothes hanging racks on each side and I'd have the added benefit of being able to store my bicycles while traveling.

This straight-pull packs long features in a short package. There are some real advantages to a closable bunk room if you can only have one or the other. I love the smokeout cabinetry panels. It really ties in the TV package nicely. It is unfortunate the front bed is not travel accessible. I might actually prefer the extra 6 inches of frame to make it work, but should not be a deal-breaker for someone concerned more about staying under 30 ft. Overall it's a Grand Design. You can only Imagine the memories to be made. What?? Today is NOT National Corny-Pun Day?? Dang.

Hey Josh i love your enthusiasm ! You crack me up! This layout is awesome! My only wish is if the could change the steps to solid type that flip up. I just worry about 7 people running in and out those current steps won't last. Thanks for all the hard work!!!

Josh, instead of the Murphy bed,can a trifold sofa be put there instead.. that would allow for the bed to be accessible since it pushed up against the front wall. Also ,does this come with auto level. ? And can you add the swing arm on the back hitch to put the grill on instead of having it in front of the drawer?

We have 4 kids and tow with a Navigator L, so this is exactly what we need! It may be a little on the heavy side, but technically it's 1200lbs less than what we're rated at (8600lbs), so it should be fine. I know the camping groups on FB warn against towing on the higher end, so I wish we could test before buying. Great review as always!

We love this camper and its at the top of our list (And your walk thrus are the best on youtube!) but no one mentions the bunk weight limits in any of the videos we've watched. I've searched the online manuals and websites with no luck. The only thing I see is on customer forums where owners answer other owners (meaning the info isn't necessarily reliable).
