"History of racism" 🙄You mean Tumblr posts from when she was 15? Who cares. Every black rapper says racist sh:t in almost every song they've ever released, including both Kendrick and Drake IN THIS BEEF as they're calling out each other's blackness because they dated white women or are "rapping for the whites." The "racism only goes one way" hypocrisy is overwhelming. When Knox started this video with "this is just getting sad now," maybe he meant black fragility. 😂

She didn't have to apologize, she chose to apologize out of either woke guilt or just doing PR damage control. Camilla was 15 posting on Tumblr for those "racist comments," and I guess nobody told her that only black people are allowed to be as racist as they want with no repercussions. If only Camilla had made racist comments toward white people, nobody would care. Drake and Kendrick have done that many times in this beef alone. But racism against whites is ok, even celebrated, while [black fragility + black privilege = cancellation] for anyone who has ever said anything in their entire life that could be construed as racism toward them. People keep coming up with lots of reasons for Drake struggling, but I think they've missed a key one - nobody likes a "PDF file". There has been a lot of talk from hip-hop commentators that "he'll still have the women chasing him", even if he moves to pop, but I'm not so sure. He might have a few, but most people Drake's age are parents, and this younger generation don't play - they won't support people they think are ab-sers. I've never been a Drake fan, but my neighbour is. Haven't heard his autotuned mess for weeks, so I asked her why. The answer? "I like his music, but I cant support a p-do". I think people are underestimating how much that jab from Kendrick, and the subsequent info that came out online, has damaged Drake and his brand. He's not one of the musical greats, so people are not looking past these allegations.

This is actually one thing I believe he did give some thought to. Drake is an undercover racist himself from being rejected by black kids growing up and through his adult years with all these beefs with different black rappers. He can relate to Camille's racist inner child feelings and is probably surprised if black ppl dont understand why. I think a lot of mixed people with identity issues carry around some resentment towards black ppl, if only a little. After listening to them and hearing their plight in life, Ive come to understand many have deep rooted issues that I dont think society acknowledges in a healthy, productive, or educational way, if at all. Instead society just keeps breeding them because they're cute, not caring acknowledging or addressing what life can be like for them.

The fundamental problem is Drake has NEVER been a product of authentic hip-hop culture or the American Black hip-hop community. He simply isn't. He's a pop star. And he's NOT from here. You're NEVER gonna attack the West Coast as an outsider and get the respect of the West. Drake is an artist for what is called "hip-hop adjacent". That is like the teens that like their music simple and dancable and non threatening. but that's NEVER been what hip-hop was about. It has always been about the bars and the culture. It's NEVER been about if you can get Grammys or awards from Billboard. Fine, But Public Enemy, NWA, Gangstarr, BDP, Rakim never got any Grammys. In hip-hop, that's never been the standard. Because real hip-hop has never fucked with Drake cause he's just a pop guy trying to rap to tweens.

I mean, the immediate repudiation of your comment that they take 6 months and are planned is that Drake's verse on that Sexy Redd thing was over BBL Drizzy, so it clearly wasn't that since the beat came out less than a month before. I think the other repudiation is how others in the space were telling Drake to stop holding up the Camilia single, like DJ Hed, because they didn't want her album to be delayed simply because he didn't want the track released while he tries to calculate his moves. But I think more than anything, the perfect example is all his IG trolling that shows he still doesn't get it. Posts up himself bowling under "69 God" even though, that's essentially an admission of being a lover of all things minor doesn't move like someone who understands or is calculated. It comes across as problematic floundering. And a lot of that has to go with how "sticky" the messaging Kendrick relayed was relative to how everyone seems to have dismissed Drake's lies. Like, seriously, even if we take the "69 God" to be some crazy reappropriation for being an equal opportunity reciprocator with your partner, all of his songs about using women indicates that he's literally not that. The constant contradictions reinforce Kendrick's messaging further. Further burying himself. Numbers doesn't save that. He literally needs to remake Drake and he doesn't seem to know how to reinvent himself without stealing something else which continues to reinforce what Kendrick said. He'll never escape that until he becomes authentic and he doesn't understand what that means because he's always been someone else.

Ive said this before and I'll say again: I never saw his career going past "Forever". He "cockroached" his way into fame and stardom. Now that he's been exposed for his actions, he can't manage to regain his traction. "Hey drake, they're not slow". I saw him as a fake I never lost sight of that I knew he was never hip hop, nor a legit rap artist. He's been a facade, ppl got "pacified" into. 🤓 Stay woke, eyes open at all times. 😂 What drake is doing now, he should of stayed doing from day one. He single handly sabotaged his career. Imo Drake's current issue is that Kendrick laid out every one of Drake's faults as a person and as an artist. Then Kendrick went the extra mile to speculate how Drake's failure as a human being has fed into why he's problematic as an artist. And the speculation seems so fitting that it's hard to see it otherwise. Now all Drake can do is continue operating the way he always has or pivot hard. But that is also going to be an issue either way. If he continues moving the way he always did (as he's doing now), every release solidifies Kendricks points. If he pivots in the was Knox suggests, then it looks like Kendrick has pressured Drake into changing. Then it's more of the same thing where Drake shapeshifts to get the most bang for his buck. If he were to suddenly pretend to be for the culture right on the heels of losing a beef where he was accused of that, it looks bad too. Now it seems like Kendrick had the power to make Drake at least try to fake a new persona to please him and the public. It also will seem like Drake is doing his colonizer thing where be latches onto people to help him build a persona and then discard them. I hope none of our OGs and icons would embarrass themselves and let themselves be a pawn for Drake's next persona as being a rapper who's for the culture suddenly. We all know it would be some bullshit and it would come across as a corny act that pisses us off all over again.
