Our puppy was only potty trained because we kept her confined. If she was not in her pen, she would pee everywhere. We would slowly increase the amount of space of her “pen” until it was the whole living room. Literally any time we tried to let her roam out of the pen she would immediately pee. Using a kennel/pen is good for potty training because they don’t go potty in their “area.” Their “safe place” if you will. It also kept her safe from eating literally everything in site, including furniture 😳

Place a bag of baby carrots in the freezer and when you catch honey chewing on thing she shouldn’t give her a baby carrot in place! That helped us so much when our puppies were teething. Also with them being frozen it last longer and gives them the satisfaction of chewing on something longer and work their brain just a little same as the lick mats! :)

My dogs roamed at all ages I didn’t leave them to a specific area except at night. And that was until potty trained once trained they were allowed anywhere in the house at anytime. I am their person though so they chose to be where I was during the day and at night. And I personally think it’s silly not to allow them on the couch, but it’s white, so I wouldn’t allow it either cause of that. Just because she’s going to be big wouldn’t stop me.

My dogs absolutely do not roam the house as puppies, lol. Our bedrooms are carpeted and accidents are impossible to fully clean down through the carpet padding. They always come back. Plus, they can cause expensive damage. My now 10 month old has ruined 3 $100 hoses, a trampoline net (she can climb up there), a set of patio cushions, and 2 pairs of Nikes left outside. The back yard is the ONLY place she isn’t fully supervised. We own working dogs so they are high energy. Our last dog was allowed to roam at night at 18 months and was 2 years before we left her out while gone from home.

Every other clip you're showing Honey chewing on something she isn't supposed to have or you're complaining about it..... can you please go to the pet store and buy her some chew toys/any toys in general? She's chewing because she's teething and a baby but also most likely because she is BORED!! Give her something she CAN chew on and reward her for doing so, or every time she gets something she's not meant to chew, redirect and give her something she can chew and reward her accordingly!

I would consider getting pet insurance, my boy Charlie is what the vet calls an indiscriminate eater, so he's very curious and attempts to eat everything. One day he got in the kitchen and somehow ate an avocado pit without me knowing. Needless to say he became very sick and almost died, he got emergency surgery to get the blockage out. It cost me $7,000.00 that I am still paying off. Also it was a mini avocado pit so be careful with kids toys with little pieces, I guess small things can still cause a blockage. Look into pet insurance, I made the mistake of not having any and it probably cost me hundreds if not thousands. ❤

Great job on puppy sleeping through the night, it’s not the best idea for another dog , this one is great no guarantee on how adding another, my dog gets access to the house once trained 100%, I keep a leash on my dog attached to a person till after trained and dog isn’t getting into stuff, then when in the terrible twos, then leashed again if dog is not listening then likely off leash in eye sight. If you have her leashed to a person she can’t get into as much trouble, the person she is tied to watches her, if they can’t watch then she should be in her gated area

My aunt and uncle had a dog for like 16 years (he was a couple of years older than me). They got him when they started dating, and they got married about 5 months before I was born. Well, I was really attached to that puppy. I loved him dearly. He was a small, white dog (I can never remember what kind of dog he was). But there was one time when I was like 8 or 9 years old, where my aunt had a white blanket on the floor, and he was laying on it/was wrapped up in it (not too tightly though) and she couldn't find him and kept calling his name. Well, long story short, she found him... After she accidentally stepped on him... He was okay, but that has to be the funniest story I have of him. The puppy's name was Chewy, he had to be put down in the beginning of 2022 due to old age.
