A few more Dr Hook tracks for your consideration: Queen of the Silver Dollar, Freakin' at the Freakers Ball, Roland the Roadie and Gertrude the Groupie, or even Makin' it Natural. If you've not heard Sylvia's Mother, that's a bona fide classic.

Great rock band from the 70's-80's. They had lots of hit songs such as "Sylvia's Mother", "The Cover Of Rolling Stone", "Only Sixteen", "Sharing The Night Together", "Better Love Next Time", "Sexy Eyes" etc.

I went to a Guess Who concert back in the early 70s in Wichita Kansas. We were all disappointed when we found out Guess Who didn't show up! However, their back up band took it upon themselves to put on a Real Show! All of Wichita fell in love. It was Dr. Hook! They played for hrs and we went Crazy! My first introduction to Dr. Hook! 😎🤔

Cover of the Rolling Stone was their most famous. Then there is Queen of the Silver Dollar which was my favorite when I was a kid. My sister always called her sister The Queen and her sister thought it was a compliment though how she didn't connect it to the song is surprising. I love Sylvia's Mother, Carry Me, Carrie (not a big hit, but I love it) and of course, because they are hilarious "walk Right In' and "Get my Rocks off" "I got Stoned and I missed it" and "Freakin' at the Freaker's Ball" Shel Silverstein, the children's author wrote their songs.

I love the studio version of all their songs much better than their live versions. That is not the case for me for most musicians of the 70s and 80s, but in this case it is.
