We westerners put so much into what we CAN see, that when we come across something like this, it’s unsettling to some. Rather than automatically assuming, judging based on one’s appearance, the Muslim way of dressing forces others to have to “look” past the appearance and get to know them for their personality rather than what they look like. Man cannot accurately carry out Gods word, if you think they can you have been indoctrinated. I don’t want to shame anyone who has faith is spiritual beings, but I just feel it’s common sense when these religions mainly benefit the men in power, not “God” nor, “Allah”. @Sarah-zr1ki

sister, who said they are doing it because men want it that way, i would even say that the majority of men would like so see women with less clothing, don’t you think so? the reasons why people and a lot of women still choose to follow this specific religion is not because of oppression. there are soo many beautiful sides to this religion, you could spend an entire life educating yourself about islam and would still find so many beautiful things and messages. it was the first religion that actually gave women rights at a time when not even the west (europe/US) did that. this religion tried to eliminate unfairness and have people treat others rightful and to be an idol for others so that they would leave their immorality behind and choose to live a graceful live in the name of only one god. If you dare to do it i advise you to read a legitimate book that tries to give a view of the prophets life and what the core goal of islam is. it might change your life or maybe it will be an enlightening new view on the religion millions freely choose to believe in.

@@borasireen First of all yes her god still commands her to cover up and if she does not she will face consequences one way or another. Its not a choice when you're pressured or blackmailed into doing something. Second, Allah and Muhammed's law is Islamic law and Islamic States have the responsibility to enact their law because Islam does not separate religion from state. You want to prove me wrong? What will you do if your own child was to leave Islam? Will you kill them as commanded in your religion or will you commit kufr and risk facing consequences for eternity in your afterlife? Just by denying Islamic law you committed blasphemy and kufr so you're already an apostate yourself. Btw Christians are persecuted and restricted in practicing their faith in Islamic countries because even if they are people of the book you still view them as polytheists and worthy of hell.
