I absolutely love your channel ❤️ I'm a nurse in a memory care unit. I'm so glad you are with her. People don't realize what it's like for them in a facility. I'll give you facts..they are still people who have lived amazing lives. If they can be at home with a caregiver let them stay there. Just because they're not talking to you, confusing you, confusing themselves doesn't mean they don't remember their home knowing the people there take care of them. It's obvious she's in a later stage of dementia..but she still smiles and laughs so she's recognizing her family. Without words that's her heart ❤️ she's not afraid. That's what we as nurses want for our patients ❤❤❤❤

My sweet husband just died in February from a head on car crash..he was in the early stages of dementia.. although my heart is shattered, I thank God he didn't have to get so bad I couldn't take care of him anymore..I would have died trying to.

@ivyedan7183 I’m so sorry for your loss, but as you say, he didn’t have to go through the later stages of this terrible disease. You lose them twice. I lost my Mom eight years ago last November. I was her carer and I had to let her go in a home in the end, which I hated, but I was not in the best of health myself. God bless you, the pain does ease with time. Try to remember all your good times together. With love and Best Wishes from England XX

Thank you all for such kind words..I couldn't see why God took him home at first but now I understand why..he knew it would break my heart either way but, at least my sweetheart knew me in his last minutes..He is perfectly healthy now and I have to remember we will see each other again some day.. until then, I have 23 years of great memories. He was truly my heart and soul mate.

No need to apologize for how you look. One day you will be older and look back and say, why did I see myself that way?
