So many of us suffer from catastrophising thoughts, which can really take over and get in the way of living our lives, ruining friendships, relationships and jobs.
Unfortunately, the more intelligent or imaginative we are, the further we can take the catastrophising and it can be really hard to switch off.
It can be super hard to stop these thoughts because we really believe that it’s our mind's job to look for all the pitfalls to protect us, but it can take up so much time and energy that sometimes we end up doing nothing because it’s too risky or confusing.
There are many different reasons we might suffer from catastrophising thoughts. In todays video, Catriona looks at where they come from, and gives us real ways to start managing the thoughts. It's not something we have to just learn to live with, we can learn to gain back control of ourselves and our minds.
