It pains my heart to see them struggle. 😢 Thank you for helping our Latinos. No matter where they come from they’re human. The way Luis said that people think he’s a drug addict by the way he looks; not understanding he starves himself and gets no sleep to feed his wife & little girl. Being generous to people in need is truly heartwarming. Bless you for what you do.❤

I understand why they’d get annoyed at people coming in, but everyone just needs to understand, we are ALL just trying to get through life and survive!! Even in richer places like Britain where I stay, there is so much hate about “immigrants” and this and that. We can’t look after our own so how can we look after them etc what ppl don’t understand is these people never want to leave their homes and families behind to come here if they didn’t need to!!! Us brits wouldn’t last ONE day in their lives.. & it’s not immigrants that are the problem it’s our governments that don’t want to help “us” and it won’t change with or without immigrants. We all need to live and lead with kindness to everyone. ❤
@Solymar79

I don’t think coming to USA or other countries that’s the issue , the issue is that once they are in they think this country have the responsibility to help them , they protest 🪧 and go against this country. Democrats only promise what is good for them in elections times after that they forget about it . But the immigrants love them because they think they are going to help . So if they want to fight for their rights in USA why not to fight in their own country ?
@Gold_ilocks

In reality it’s not the immigrants fault, if people are complaining about not have work then they should up-skill to become more valuable. Everybody should understand that economy equals competition, as hard as that is to swallow 💊

Good for you for changing and growing as a person MM, may you continue to do so throughout your life! If you’re in the US (or anywhere, my experience is US-based) I would highly recommend volunteering at a homeless shelter or day center. They can always use help and it will further open your eyes to how systems in our country can create barriers for unhoused people to get back on their feet. In my community, the hospital said the psych ward wasn’t profitable enough and they were going to close it until there was huge pushback from the community and they reversed course. It’s the only emergency mental health provider without having to drive for 2.5 hrs. Once someone is stabilized at the hospital though, if they’re homeless they have no or very minimal follow up care. Some of our clients have been on waitlists for low-income housing for years. It’s just not available. The days the day center are closed there are no free meals available in the community aside from some churches that have a brunch on Sunday. So there’s no food on Thursday or Saturday. Once you become homeless, whatever the reason, it can be incredibly difficult to become housed again. You can’t even apply for assistance programs without an address so you have to find a friend/family/etc. or a non-profit that will allow you to receive mail there to even start to ask for help. Surveys and studies vary but many or the majority of Americans are only a paycheck or two away from homelessness and once there, it’s a mountain to climb to get out.

You know things sre really hard when u see little children cry when they receive kindness from someone. Modt kids in the west have no idea when their psrents sre struggling, but in the countries Aaron goes to people don't have the luxury of shielding their babies from the hardship. It's just so pervasive and inescapable. My heart goes out tonthe millions of people living this way. We need to be mindful not to judge, and to be more compassionate and giving.
