Geniusly done. never suspected you could actually put the cable upside down to mend the ends together. Did you protect your soldering with any UV glue?

I believe it's because Apple glues their screens together and you cannot take them apart without destroying them, sadly.

Unfortunatly does not work for me, I tried two times and it never worked for me, I did the wire ones, you need good thin strong wires for this job , that's the key

Use desolder wick, the Stripes from it seperate them and ise AS jumper wire or did U mean the flexcable IT self ?

I mean get 0.02 or 0.04 jumper cables and use them to create the connection between the two cables instead of this method , the method in this video looks nice and wish it had worked for me but it didn’t
