Back when I was a student on the Nautical College in Den Helder (the Netherlands) I have sailed on this vessel three times. Of course this was before her conversion. Wonderful to see her back in this video.

This is not the usual over sized modern speed boat I see around today. It is a real ship and reminds me immediately of the the Christiana. I could live with the single caterpillar engine with no worries, as many a much bigger ship have had in the past. And I would feel more comfortable and safer travelling around the world, aboard this ship than most other flash yachts I see around today. I was stuck in the Indian ocean in a monsoon once on an old 16,000 ton ship with this design hull, and these canoe hulls are designed to handle the rough weather. It does not matter how fast your boat can go, it won't help in rough seas because you have to slow down in rough seas to match the seas pace to survive. Even a 200,000 ton ships has to do that. This is a liner hull and not a cruise ship hull which has to avoid rough weather like the plague.

Not to worry, most boats have a small single engine as (not shown) a back up motor, approximately 70 hp, depends on size of boat, but enough to get you... home

I’ve watched hundreds of KZitem video presentations of yachts, and I must say, THIS particular video is my all time favorite. I love the fact that you don’t open EVERY SINGLE CABINET, DRAWER, AND STORAGE LOCKER like many people do when giving a tour. I think this particular ship/yacht is in my top five. Thank you for your professionalism in giving us this tour.

How nice to see, my brother in law was involved in the first build (refit) back in 2006, for what I remember the old trainings vessel was filled up to her neck with asbestos that all had to go out, it was done on a shipyard in Poland before any other work could be done to her. Also nice to see some instruments I worked on in the past on the bridge, so I can say there is a little bit of me on board of this wonderful vessel!

This is probably the most beautiful ship I've ever seen. Especially all the different elements of dutch maritime design, such as that wheelhouse has clearly its inspiration of tugboat Holland, the funnels are undoubtedly connected with Bureau Wijsmuller and Smit Lloyd, somehow I also got a sense of the Holland America Line ships in its over all design. I've probably missed a few eastereggs but nonetheless an absolute brilliant vessel

Ehat a treat and what an awesome vessel. To be invited aboard, for any reason is just amazing. Wow, I was getting bored of all the newer super yacht tours on other channels as they start to blend together after awhile of seeing the same yacht types and manufacturers. The main shape is pretty standard on them and exterior/interior finishes start to look or feel the same. But this boat is stunning! All the same luxury, but with a different and amazing layout. Great tour.

An absolutely stunning ship. Just looked it up - to charter this it's $600,000 per week, plus expenses (which, I assume, means gas, food, booze, tips for the 19 crew, and taxes). So let's say it's $1mill for the week. If you have a full complement of 26 guests that's about $40,000 per guest, per week. I"ve GOTTA start hanging out with a better class of people ...

Magnificent! I am always stunned, however, that regardless of the size of these super yachts, they always seem to have tiny toilets. I call them "telephone toilets" (unlike the old telephone handsets). That means they are so small, one has to to move forward and aft to do each part of your personal business. For me, I always have the existing toilets taken out of a home I have purchased and an "handicapped" toilet installed. Makes for the best comfort and ease. I love the cleanliness of this yacht, especially the mechanical areas. A clean, well painted and lit engine room tells me that the yacht has a crew that is proud of her.

The engine almost sounds like a greyhound bus (minus the screaming bus passengers). Love the colours and decorations. The number of passengers is perfect too. For someone who would love to live on his own personal yacht by himself but at the same time with some other people, this would be perfect. Though the Joey Room (owner's cabin) would not be that big unless its the crew's tv lounge as well as my cabin.

Good NZ morning John. Just had a quiet laugh to myself about the gym. If they really are coming down this way to Antarctica, even during our southern summer, they'll be dealing with the Roaring 40s, Furious 50s and Screaming 60's. They don't go away. Guests will get all the Gym work they need without trying. Speaking from experience. Even with the stabilisers working overtime. There's a huge difference between cruising the Med, and getting chucked around down here. Nice vessel though. However I still like "Just B." Thank you for the presentation. Quality editing mate. Until next time, take care.

Reminds me of my days on smaller yachts sleeping aft near the engines during a night passage and you couldn't hear the engines, but you could feel them and the slightest roxk of the waves just puts you to sleep like nothing else. On bigger yachts, that's all mitigated and on longer passages, up,forward, you got some motion that wasn't so peaceful. But in the, guest areas...calm motion.

Possibly your best yacht walkthrough! A very impressive 70m that has been incredibly well re-modelled. I am amazed at the guest accommodation, so well done with minimal wasted space but still manages to give you everything you want and more with a feeling of space! There is so much to like about this yacht. The guest cabins are beautiful, the deck spaces are great, I love the big dining table for 22 and the galley is impressive. To me, a bridge is a bridge, the yacht gets steered and stopped. Black magic! I'm a numptie that thinks the captain is the driver, the chauffeur while I am more interested in the chef and sommelier, maybe the barista. What I didn't like is that if this is explorer yacht, not a weekend gin palace, I would like an overview to see if the crew are unhappy galley slaves, as in properly accommodated for long voyages that Antarctica would involve. And the range is almost too modest. I didn't like the engine room, more modern yachts seem to look so orderly and uncluttered but I'd shriek and run away if someone offered to show me "the engine". I know nothing! Lastly, it may be OK for living on the yacht for a few days, becoming accustomed to the layout, the decks etc but for me, I like pictures and a deck plan layout provides a great context or framework to make sense of how things work and fit together. To me, a superyacht is simply a resort hotel that floats and is mobile but there is so much variability in superyacht designs.

The immediate drone fly-by is impressive and gives true James Bond vibes. A truly beautiful vessel that will catch the attention of true 1960'ties connoisseurs. I practically NEVER comment when I have almost nothing good to say about a ship, but.. ...it's all downhill form there: The stainless steel dorade vents reveals first signs of mixed taste, like the mall-like atrium interior, the bamboo decorated spa and the hiddious tree-root-like "lounge chairs" or the hand-shaped bar stools. The on-suites are just a mix of everything and the master cabin reminds me of the cafeteria on the old Rostock-Gedser ferries. I DO enjoy your videos in general and it's interesting to see what wealthy people are ready to throw away spare dollars on. I'm truly glad your family enjoyed your stay :) Keep the videos coming. Consider all hate this comment gets as a small contribution to your channel :)
