Heya Sito. If you have the time can you do a Mar del Plata cost of living breakdown. I've seen BsAs breakdowns but none for the other cities. Can one survive on $650 per month in MdP Btw. You deserve way more views man.
@sitopoema

yes that would be a good topic I think! I can get that out in the near future!! And yes with $650 that's more than enough. I use less than that a month and tend to eat out and spend on random things lol

Yes you can mate, I used to live in La Plata a few years ago which is a little bit more expensive than Mar del Plata with U$S400 a month, but you need your dollars on paper so you can get a good exchange rate, Mar del Plata is such a beautiful city and it's really cheap.

I lived 8 yrs in Ushuaia tierra del fuego from 2002 to 2010 . Can't believe how bad the inflation is in Argentina now. Imagine that in 2010 1400 pesos was approx 450$ . The rate was pretty stable between 2.80 pesos to 4 pesos to 1 $ from 2002 to 2010

@@sitopoema I remember the 25 centavos coins lol. I remember even the useless regulation that the govt asked businesses to put a sign and comply with it was to round up to customers favor if price difference was less than 10 centavos. Back then the fine was 5000 pesos(1300 dollars). While they were doing these laws that helped no one they were printing endless money and destroying people's savings also they were putting so many obstacles in bank withdrawals and other things. Anyway very nice videos I subscribed. Argentina is a great place

what really helped me with everything was having my wife handle most of the documents because she is from Argentina and it just made I that much easier with less questions asked for paperwork. average income doesnt tell the whole story in many countries. It doesnt include other sources of income or a lot of self employed income, nor wealth distribution (unlike median income). Many Argentines ahave seconadary income sources. Also Macdonalds is an occasional visit not a home meal replacement like in the US! Obesity is not an issue here
