I don't under stand the difference, why should it behave differently than an fvg?

So what makes it the liquidity void is the long wick...

Ugggghhh. That's a Fair Value Gap according to ICT. Check your notes. There are probably LTF voids withing that gap which will draw price, but it's still a SIBI. It's just a SIBI created by a HIND, so it will behave very differently from a regular print, but it's still an FVG. You are correct in what you are describing in terms of how it acts within the narrative though. Not a LV. Still an FVG on this TF. Just call it a Data Gap.

Since you said you expect this to filled, not rejected: Do you trade these long?

Nah that's a fvg mate. Come on now. A liquidity void happens when no orders took place at all, hence "VOID". If you can frame a FVG as either BISI or SIBI, that's not a liquidity void, that is an imbalance, especially in a 830am news driver.

This guy is taking an already over complicated way of trading taught by ICT and then placing his own additional layers of over complication on top of it to try and differentiate himself from other ICT gurus

Short time frame void? Does it exist in a larger timeframe like a day candle or week candle?
