I have seen a guy ruin his whole life over a POS junk car that was worthless when he got it and he poured $$$,$$$ and hundreds of hours into a car that was worth about $30k at the time.....this guy just would NOT LET GO of this POS. His wife left him and he ended up, 15 years later, living in his tow vehicle with nothing but this POS car, not running, on the trailer behind his tow vehicle.....and the POS car now worth virtually nothing......all over a f*cking Dodge Cordoba.....yes, folks....a f*cking Cordoba

It sucks that I live on the other side of the ocean, or I would try to help you out with it. I tend to solve things due to I’m stubborn and can’t stop thinking of why it doesn’t do as I want. Good luck with it and go the basic ways first. Did you hook it up to see if all parts communicate? Or at least those you need? Also, double check all earths it might be oxidized after the water, it can give some earth but not enough for the starter to engage, it needs solid ground and feed. I myself had that problem where the ground from battery engine and chassis wasn’t good enough for starter (loosened up after a week) but enough to give 12v on multimeter while testing and for rest of car functions to work. Good luck!

build a Megasquirt and wire it into the car. I had a SL600 always in Limp mode. Swapped to Megasquirt with some GM parts and drove it for 3 years. Sold it to a neighbor and he has been driving it for 2 more years. I believe that' Viper is a simple car, no traction control or launch. Give it some fuel and spark and drive the hell out of it.

There should be a push pull sensor positioning switch on the clutch so when you start it the clutch has to be either engaged or not. Since you can’t push the clutch in that is keeping the car from turning over. If you can find that sensor? Slide it the other way and that will let you start the car in neutral. Not sure if this will help but 🤞🤞

This is a fun channel to watch! So what was it with wife number 2? She didn’t like your stepmom or the fact you spend too much time on the project and KZitem videos? That’s the big problem today with cars, trucks etc. you need to rely too much on electronics that are always locked and screw with the owners. How about Tesla, they have locked out the owner from their property since they refuse to buy new batteries from the factory at their outrageous prices. Rumor has it that there in the states the government wants to go to digital currency, basically they can hold your money hostage, they can bankrupt you overnight, the possibilities of the average individual getting screwed are endless if not by the government but also hackers.

May be you need to press the brake padel and then press the push button to start a car Since it has damage in that area it is possible the switch is not sending the signal to computer to crank it. Another way to check would be to press the brake and see if the brake light turn on. I am no expert but just my 2 cent

The electronics of the car is always hard to fix and troubleshoot. Most mechanics do great job at mechanical work but fail to understand vehicles electronic side of things. It's only the car's original engineers know how it is designed and where's the problem. I know vehicles service centers don't entertain such cases but why not take some advice from them if someone has some connection with them?

Flooded cars are an absolute nightmare 99% of the time. All the electronics on modern day cars will be corroded to death or will be very shortly. Same with the wiring loom and all the other parts where water got into . Best stay far away from these cars, completely restore them or consider them parts cars. I know,i had this happen multiple times at work.
