While scrolling through Douyin, I came across a piece of Shanghai matcha jasmine toast. It looks so tempting! I quickly made one and it was really, really delicious. The double combination of matcha and jasmine milk sauce made this bread very refreshing and slightly elegant. You must try it!
recipe:
Matcha toast: 250g high-gluten flour, 30g sugar, 4g salt, 1 egg, 30-50g yogurt, 110g milk, 10g milk powder, 8g matcha powder, 2.5g high-sugar resistant dry yeast, 30g butter
Bake: 250g toast box: Bake at 160 degrees for 20 minutes, then 200 degrees for 20 minutes
450g toast box: Bake at 160 degrees and 200 degrees for 25 minutes
Jasmine milk sauce: 5 grams of dried jasmine flowers or jasmine green tea powder, 200 grams of light cream, 40 grams of cream cheese, 15-20 grams of sugar
Matcha milk sauce: 40g cream cheese, 200g light cream, 20g sugar, 3g matcha powder
